Needed change in the livery editor

There needs to be an option to move the gtsport car number locations. The ability to move and change the size of each sticker. I was surprised to find out after i ran my racecar in sport mod that the numbers were put on my car messing up my hard work. Im sure im not the only person that spent a long time making a livery and this happened. I will edit my livery if i have to but would like to see PD step up and fix this in the next patch. Maybe as a alternative have the option to opt out of a race number in sport mode. I would rather the ability to move the number locations.

They probably do it on purpose, as they want everyone to have a number in sports mode (can anyone confirm its only in sports mode ?)

to solve this, they should give you the option to scale the number / Move it around, and create your own number (most of the stickers you can choose from are pretty lame imo)

Then make a minimum and maximum scale? And why would they put it in the wheels? You still got an option to choose no number? You'll still have a number in sports mode then, but it'll look less rediculous than in the pic above

I said to put them in the wheels so they don't appear on the bodywork ;)

then make a custom decal using the rounded-corner square shape and sponsor decals and numbers
It doesn't work : GT "official" numbers come in front of every other sticker. That's why it is annoying when they cover some personnal work you spend hours on.

No, what I mean is to create a whole number plate yourself and remove the preset one found in the racing items section...

You have missed the point, the game automatically applies the number in sport mode, there is nothing you can do about it!

IMO just work with it / around it you know where the thing is going to go! I make my custom number panels fit inside the space used by the sport one for example.

I’d like to see some different coloured back grounds for car classes though, as they do in the WEC for example!

It’s annoying we can’t scale and move them, if only in a restricted manner. But we should get the option to make our own.. an option for «custom number plate» where you get to a specific design space where you make your own. Only presets there is font type and shape of the basic background(or transparent for that matter, rest is up to you.

Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't played Sport Mode so I must have missed it if it was mentioned earlier....My apologies.

As I'm finishing my project, I was wondering...

The actual car (A), doesn't fit well with the GT number placement (B).

Given that I'm trying to be the more accurate, I will stay with this solution for the main car, but I was thinking about doing a "Sport-mode-ready" car.

Should I just do a car with some tweaks (C), which still looks like the original one but where the GT number doesn't ruin the whole thing when it will be applied. Or should I do a car on purpose (D), where I still use the brands, but in a way to totally fit the Sport number ? In this case, I would also applied the number decal as standard.

I was even wondering if, in this (D) car, I place the "avex group" on the yellow square, and the "SP AIR" in the center.

I'm open to your ideas !

PS : On the side, I already used a marking tape so the GT decals can cover my own.

The car doesn't need a number at all. Leave it to the player to choose. In real life, the officials (corner workers, etc) use the number to identify the car/driver. In the game, it's unnecessary. Let the player choose. I really hope this gets fixed. I HATE having to build liveries around that space.
