I know this has been posted already, i did use the search button, but i found answers in none of the threads since most people say it's better to get information from Playseats (I already tried that, a week has past and no response...their service sucks).

I want to buy a Playseat Classic and a G27 wheel combo. I've heard the pedals need a bit of work to adapt to the classic and the seat doesn't have a gear lever support.

Questions:

1. Is it possible to make the Playseat gear lever support to work with the G27? (Dont tell me to ask playseats, they dont know how to answer an e-mail...)
2. Precisely, what are the changes that need to be made to the Playseat to fit the G27? Do i need any extra materials or any skill to do it?
3. How much does the Playseat Classic weight in shipping guise?
4. How is it's adjustment options?
5. Is it solid? (I've heard so, but i want to be sure).

Please guys, give me some answeres. I need to make a decision quickly . Thanks in advance 👍.

I bought a playseat classic and a G25 last year and regretted it since. The main problem is the pedals not fitting the pedal plate, it could probably work if you cut some wood to the shape of it but I find that the playseat classic is pretty unstable and not very solid anyway. The gearstick adapter will fit but it wont be as solid as it should be, basically there are two places where it fits to the seat and only one of these can be used on the playseat classic (don't know if that makes much sense but it's hard to explain). I'm gonna get rid of my playseat classic and get myself an evolution instead and I'd probably recommend spending a little bit more on the evolution of getting a different alternative.

Very helpful! Thanks a lot!

I can tell you this much. You will save yourself an INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF CASH if you get the Playseat Classic, and there is a very simple way to fix the pedal problem. Theres tons of people who do it. This one guy on amazon simply drilled through the stock plate where the pedals screws were. An easier way is to cut what out to the length (or bigger) of the pedals from your G27. As of for the gear shift holder. They sell them for $39.99 on amazon and they DO fit the Playseat Classic. Or you can use a nice little $2 shelf bracket drill it in or use some welding glue or some nice strong bond and there you go with that.

I know what your going through I myself cannot spend 300 dollars on a chair. not saying its an ordinary chair. but even for a nice comfortable racing chair.. too much not affordable for me.
hope i helped a bit if you need help or picutres of what i mean let me know
