Ever since the DLC cars were released for North America, they have been dominating the drag rooms. Not only are these cars overpowered, they are also lighter then their predecessors. Maybe its just me, but I find this extremely annoying. I go out in my ACR looking for some good races and all I encounter are R35 TCs. I with they could make a restriction in online rooms that would only allow Street Legal cars...

Would be nice to be able to restrict them. Just kick them if they join.

I haven't used my r35 tc once for drag.. I have however used the r33 and r34 they are a lot of fun when I beat up the reg r35s :)

Only car that is crazy fast is the R35 TC.. The other DLC cars are fine IMO.

When/if 'Pro' tuners use the R35 TC (nuclear warhead) then yah got to fight fire with fire I guess. The R35 TC is silly fast with a retarded/base tune, I have seen it beat a pro tuned Spec V..

Time will tell.

Street Legal with Racing Tyres

No problem with the cars themselves, nor with people tuning them. No problem with people racing anything they like so long as its a somewhat even match-up. It just gets old when someone gets beat and pulls it out just to get a win. I have the same problem with people pulling out Enzos, ACRs, Veyrons, Spec V, etc. just to beat you instead of stepping their game up by making adjustments and coming back out to race you again. If I beat your Mach 1 with mine, don't bring out your ACR to defeat my Mach 1 and think you did something when I bring out my ACR to race yours and you leave the room or kick me. Thats just LAME. Theres always 1 guy dominating a room full of noobs and does this anytime someone faster than him comes in. I am nowhere near being a top tuner but have decent cars and can take a loss and hold my head up knowing I got beat by a better tuner than me and try to improve my tune. What sense of accompaniment does one get beating my 700hp car with a 900+hp supercar? Talk about overcompensation.

I find it more fun to beat a "fast" car with a "slow" car

best ever by far was when I beat a stock veyron with a chevelle. that was funny as hell.

Its not that they are fast, but that they are RM'd cars!! Except for the occasional Corvette RM, anytime someone brings out a Minolta or Escudo, they get kicked. But somehow this is allowed...

Because it becomes a case of "I paid for this so I'll damn well use them whenever I want!" from the people who bought the DLC. I haven't used my cars yet.

That's what I'm hoping for, that once all the hype is over, they'll die out. But with the R35 TC the new king of Indy, I doubt that will ever happen...

It should be treated like the veyron then and booted from rooms that arent racing hypercars.

i only break out my R35 TC when others are out, and they get spanked ;) and my R34 TC ties with my Spec V tune

Wrong! :sly:

They are NOT RM cars.

Right, they are touring cars. That's like calling other touring cars in the game RM'ed just because they are high powered and have livery/decals.

Don't hesitate using the kick button. I use it all the time and it works fine.

Agree, but it's just a matter of not line up with them, just don't race them they'll get the point and eventually leave. I see your point and it is annoying.

I personally don't drag race much but I see the use of the touring cars as natural progression. Just as you see in RL people will do what is needed to go faster.

What's all the buzz about, tc cars are cars that the creators of gt5 put there to use. If some one bring out one, take yours out and beat him with your tc. After all it's all about race. 3nights ago I was racing 1/4indy with friends. Some one came along with the r35 tc and start beatin us with it. What I did? Didnt kick him. Kick it's for whining babies... After all he's not doing anything wrong.... So I took mine out and beat him 4 of 4 runs. Eventually he put away his r35tc. No need to kick. Just be ready for every drag class car.

Yup! 100% right

Agree with you as well.

Do you drag race on Racing tyres or Sport tyres? If it's Racing tyres, you can't argue about it being street legal, if it's Sports, kick him.;)

They are NOT RM cars.

RM - Racing Modified.

R35 TC - A Nissan R35 that has been modified for racing by increasing engine output and reducing weight :dunce:

We always run RS tires 👍

mostly the first car I bring out is my r33 tc, once that gets beat I grab the r34 tc.. and when they complain that it's a tc car I grab my reg r35 and beat them.. then when they complain it's an awd I grab my enzo or acr to beat them lol.

but yah I don't run the r35 tc.

I guess it's fair game when you race them against their TC counter-parts. But what gets me is when people brag about beating GTR's, ACR's etc... with their R35 TC. When rooms turn into a TC fest, I just pack up my bags and leave.
