I,m in the states too and i dont see anything , Does anyone in the states have it?
I just got off the phone with Playstation Support.
Trying to get a refund, no such luck.
They said the network will update at 5pm Pacific.
So we have to wait until then.

The PS Store doesn't usually update until 5 or 6 in the evening.

I know from experience when I was waiting for Marvel vs Capcom 2 to make way.

EDIT: Hah. Tree'd.

l am very pleased with this new package. $ 10 well spent and worth it.
The new tracks promise to be a great new challenge, awesome new cars , especially the BMW wow, Manny will love it l'm sure. :)

I totally agree NITROVIOUS... The Casino Riviera and the Monte Grande tracks are excellent. They both have features that are pure Monte Carlo, but they've streamlined the marina section which is much faster now, which is a major improvement in my opinion.

The real surprise track to me was the Port Boucle circuit. This is going to be a fun track to race online.

The cars are all just great. And FINALLY a BMW that doesn't suck! The M1 Procar feels and sounds really good and I always liked the square shouldered look of it.

The Gumpert Apollo is terrific. It feels similar to the Aston Martin DBR9 (the race car), but I'll need to thrash it some more get a better feel for it.

My first impressions of the McLaren MP4, The Maserati GT and the Alfa were all really good. Altogether completely worth the 10 bucks! :)👍

Disagree with that. Gumpert is exact opposite to DBR9. Aston you can drive using like i use to call it, telepathy. during the turn you can fix your mistake, by correcting the throttle and taping brakes. DBR9 will forgive small mistakes. Gumpert doesn't !!! Applying throttle must be gentle so as entering corners. It's not terrific, it's terrifying :nervous: do drive. I was truly expecting to be faster then Zonda R and LP-640, so disappointing in this section but after 10 laps on Nordschleife i didn't do a single lap without making small errors. As it turns out driving this car on full edge while you want to squeeze absolutely everything is truly a real challenge. Not like CCX and F1. So in the end I'm not disappointed at all. 👍 Ten points out of 10 I was waiting for this car expecting greatness, challenge. And it is just like that.

SLR Stirling Moss 👎 heavy, slow, bad turning, bad breaking. It's more like old car from 1960 but in new futuristic skin. Looks fantastic, but nothing more than that.

Alfa Competizione Slides all the time, it's really fun to drive if someone like drifting, couple guys will like it. I do despite fact that i don't like drifting.

McLaren MP4 Excellent in every way. Acceleration, turning, breaking, speed. Next to DBR9 this is my favorite car to race with.

BMW M1 Pro car is OK. Ready to be fast because it's M. But it's only up to you, if it will be that fast on the track.

I didn't get to try all the cars before I had to go to work, but I luckily got to try a couple. I haven't touched the new track either, but plan to tomorrow (Silverstone GP and the 'Ring are my test tracks).

First and foremost, the Apollo is both what I expected and what I didn't. I expected it to be quick and with the amount of downforce, it was lightning through the corners. What I didn't expect it to be so simple to keep stable.

Then I tried the BMW M1 Procar. This car stole my heart. I wasn't able to put it on the 'Ring for I ran out of time, and I hated myself for it. This made Silverstone seem like it had rails of my driving line, and the M1 was the boxcar. Truly glorious.

That was it. I'll probably edit this post when I fully test this pack out. I am glad I bought it, though. 👍

You naughty boys...you will force me to spend those precious 10 $ I was saving to mine retirement days...I guess I will have to spend them afterall:ill::nervous::)

I was sitting on the bench waiting for some feedback from your end...but with some great first impressions I got eager to take that M1 around some tracks...

The Gumpert and McLaren are total nut-cases :D

But unfortunately, compared to the Ferrari DLC on the 360 the cockpits look far less detailed, sharp and I couldn't really tell if all the gauges were working.

Don't fancy the new track(s) in the least, rather dull because of the claustrophobic feel and one can't really appreciate the scenery. Driving through London gave some good views on landmarks, but this?

So, well, to my surprise the two cars I was looking forward to least will keep me quite busy. But the rest of the pack can't excite me at all that much.

The only thing I don't like about Port Bouche is those big blue safety box's, once someone hits them and they go into the track they won't hardly move. Just got done racing online and by lap 2 you couldn't avoid hitting them since about 4 of them was right in the middle of the track

I'v had a rubbish run round the ring in the mclaren but apparently it's the quickest world time so far.
It's a joy to drive and the 7speed box is nice.

I’m right there w/ Darkos the cars aren’t all that, some are upgradeable and some are not. The Lambo still melts everything and the new cars will be a challenge to go lightning fast in but I think they will give some people a tingle up there leg. Considering that I pay about 10 dollars for a single spark plug for my race car the tracks are a nice challenge.

 Like those dividers that always end up in the road at London River? They look like they're plastic... but they're depleted uranium. I guess proper positioning of the blue boxes will just become part of everyone's race strategy. :)

I just had a quick blast around Silverstone in the MP4 and it is definately a great car. The stock tune seems to have a little understeer to it. I noted that T-12 has done a tune for it already... I'll have to check that out this evening.
Well, done on the Ring time Jay!👍

One thing that did happen (and is typical EA), after I downloaded yesterdays Shift 1.03 update... I have no cars anymore! Well, that's not entirely true. I have the M-B SLR McLaren 722 that I was using the the WTC competition... and that's all. All the rest are gone.

Double check your cars.
I thought the same thing. Mine are there, they just are not displayed.
You have to scroll across, which is a pain when in a lobby that's about to go to race.

The car selection bar only shows the car that the selection box lands on the rest are blank?

Hmmm... I've got this glitch too in my garage, does everyone have this? Anyone found a way to get the badges to show again? -or we just learn to live with the glitchy car selector bar.

Perhaps this is what we get, now that we've got an Alfa in our garages? ;)
I used to drive an Alfa 156, quirky but I loved it.

No, I was wrong about that... All my cars are still there, it's just that you now have to move the cursor box over them to see the names. Kind of a strange modification for them to make :odd: but at least I didn't lose all my cars.

:odd: Indeed
I still have my cars too, no real overview though... more hunt and peck to see which cars are in the garage.
I noticed, if you scroll all the way to the right and get to the "car+" icon. This icon will start to show up as the icon for all other "slots" in your garage. As you said :odd:

new tracks are good, was expecting more of the new cars. i think with some tuning the apollo will give the zonda's and lambos a run run on the tighter, smaller tracks. off the subject i think v1.03 has done some minor changes to all the tracks. have run quicker since.

I downloaded the pack on Thursday but have only had chance to have a short go with the new cars, at the ring naturally, and the new tracks so I thought I'd post my thoughts for what it's worth so here goes...

The NSX I haven't driven yet as its not a car that excites me particularly but I will have a go in due course and, who knows, maybe I'll be proved wrong. The Maseratti and the Alfa are fairly decent tier 3 cars, nothing special but fairly good fun. I've only driven them stock so far and look forward to upgrading them to see what they can do.

The Stirling Moss: Drives like a tank; big, heavy, understeers badly and has 5 long gears, but is somehow inherently fun to drive. The open top aspect is fun and it is properly an exotic car. The biggest disappointment for me with this car, and the other too to some extent, is the slightly poor quality graphics for the cockpit view.

The Gumpert Apollo: Quite simply the reason I brought the pack and overall, very pleased with it. A very quick car with lots of downforce meaning good grip levels and rapid acceleration. I disagree with Darkos that this is similar to the CCX, I found it a considerable amount easier to drive and could do a reasonably fast lap straight off the bat without felling like I'd done 10 rounds with Tyson trying to keep it on the track. I'm sure when its pushed to the absolute limit it could be a scary car but for the average driver, I would say definately more managable than both the CCX and the Zonda R. Biggest disappointment was the top speed, redlined before 200mph when I believe the quoted top speed is around 220

The M1 Procar: I hadn't really paid too much attention to this car when the DLC was announced but when I tried it, wow! This thing is on rails!! Behaves, in my opinion, like a true race car, tons of downforce and super grippy tyres, combined with brakes so good, its really hard not to lock them using no ABS. The top speed isn't amazing but it makes up for this in the corners. A true find for me, and as Manny says, at last a BMW that doesn't suck, and this REALLY doesn't suck!

The McLaren: Somehow, this car slipped through unnoticed when I read the DLC contents, the other exotic names somehow seemed more exciting (maybe because we already have a McLaren). This car is, without a doubt, the jewel in the exotic car crown for me, it's quite simply outstanding. It feels like someone has taken the F1 and made it easy to drive! Again, bags of grip giving it outstanding cornering, yet still with superb acceleration and a very good top speed (200mph+ on the straight). This car has become my absolute favourite tier 4 car and I look forward to going back through the supercars events using it.

All in all £7.99 well spent on the cars, throw in the 4 new tracks and this is a very worthwhile purchase. I wouldn't fancy racing the Monaco track online however, its very narrow and given the usual punters, will surely end up as a demolition derby!

Casino Riviera is great track, fast, uphills and downhills. Little bumpy in Gumpert Apollo (this car is in Koeniggsegg CCX league). It is like Mone Carlo with palm threes and Hotels, tunels. Very nice track, looks easy to handle, bites your head off if you take it not seriously.

Gumpert is in CCX league of lap times! That what i mean by saying that it's in CCX league. It's not like CCX in anyway by handling breaking and acceleration. So slight misunderstand there, sorry for not specifying. And still i had no decent lap time in that car.

Acura NSX is the worse in my opinion. Using NOS i had the same run than in less rated BMW and Stirling Moss. Which only after proper setup is wonderful car to drive. Believe me, you cannot take this car as Stock an enjoy it. It is slow and heavy, it's just bad. But after few changes, suddenly it looses it's weight, power comes from i don't know where. And grip is so improved i just could believed. Going on Ring was really fun.

The biggest disappointment for me with this car, and the other too to some extent, is the slightly poor quality graphics for the cockpit view.

They almost look like they were done by some other artists. While the Ferraris (including the convertibles) look if anything even better than what we got so far, the Exotics look a bit dull and lower detail.

And, on the 360, I got some framerate issues again. *sigh* ah well.

I think this is well worth the purchase on PS3, although as usual in the UK we are ripped off at £7.99 compared to US with their $10 (£6.60).

The NSX isn't that bad, in fact its pretty decent when fully tuned, which is right on 14.0 limit for online racing, and one of the bodykits is the full race look with huge rear window scoop, very cool. I've been played around with the setup *through a G25) which still requires more work, but I don't think the NOS operates, it just seems to over rev (like the MX5 does).

I've tuned both the Alfa and Massa to just short of 10, both pretty decent to race but nothing to write home about, I think they will be average performance in this class. The others, the Apollo, Mclaren, SLR, and BMW M1 are all excellent and good fun to drive in their own way, as expected, none can be tuned. I need some serious time setting them up and hope many other online users choose them instead going for the obvious faster Lambo or Zonda all the time, change is good. :)

I am loving the new course(s) but then I've always been a fan of Monaco, I don't think the graphics in this example are great though, and the damn Blue removable barriers are a pain, with loads competing online they end up dotted all over the place completely ruin the flow of the course. I've had a good few races online, but like the London courses, there are too many punters using me to brake, and wall riders. But thats Shift and kiddies for you. :)
