I like all the cars, the NSX and apollo being my favourite.
lol. i just did a run @ the ring for the first time ever shift and probably 10th overall. Went 7:15 in the apollo but i did have Traction control on high

The NSX totally annihilates. How come you guys don't like it?

Not that I don't like it, just haven't tried it yet as its not a car that interests me as much as the others. Not really what I'd call exotic either compared to the others.

Well it is exotic now. They don't make it anymore. During it's time it was Japanese Ferrari, but why? We already had a Ferrari, and it's called Ferrari :sly:

Why i don't fancy NSX. Mainly because It's nothing comparing to others cars from 14.00 If you tune baby Lambo Gallardo, then on Nurburgring it will kill, crash, destroy, eat and digest NSX. And not just Gallardo, there are others as well. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss is way much better.

Meh, it's all personal preference. What exactly do you mean by baby gallardo?
I'm pretty sure the NSX would whoop the gallardo at ebisu though lol.

Yes, me and NSX just doesn't get along. Simple as that. But still i was able to do 7:00:485 on Nordschleife, so i think if you put some work to it then it might be solid car.

And then there is this situation, imagine this. Race in 14.00 cars, so you want to had at least chance to compete. So, you entering the lobby, and your competition are GTR's, Gallardo, and Audi R8. Sorry man but no matter the track you would not pick NSX against those cars if the guys driving them had equally to your's skills. There's a word for it, ..... Suicide ??

Baby Gallardo because It's little brother of Murcielago.

Right now it's not about first impression but final impression. And it's this. I'm not regretting that Ferrari pack didn't land on PS3. I was rewarded by EA in every way. First great patch and now those incredible cars. I know when I'm finally get along with Gumpert i will do a mind blowing lap's. BMW M1, McLaren and Stirling Moss are simply fantastic. New Tracks ? Fantastic sensation of speed combined with claustrophobic feeling.

Final verdict is 17/10, Seventeen points out of ten.

I agree with your final assesment on the DLC! 👍 but explain how you get 17 out of 10?:lol:

Love all the new cars and the tracks, well worth the money. Only wish they had put some Aussie tracks in it, like the new DLC for Grid, it has now got Mt Panorama Bathurst, one of the best tracks in Australia.
The only car that I was a little disappointed with for a tier 4 car was the BMW M1, but I'll install T12's tune today and it should make it a lot better.

Love the new DLC, like all the cars! Haven't drove the Gumpert yet though. Well worth the money I paid IMO. Plenty of slow bends on the new track one after another, quite challenging to get round it without bumping.

Hope we'll be racing on it soon in the league :D

Agree with the verdict lol. today i was racing the same group of 3 guys for about 5 races on the expansion pack tracks. Two on Casino Riviera, one on Port Bucle (those blue things are annoying) and two on the longest track. The cars they were using included:
Camaro SS
A Viper
A GTR

Needless to say, i whooped them bad, BUT point taken. the NSX isn't the best car for the 14 rating, but it's more of a sentimental favorite for me.

You can count on it... 👍;)

Ahhhhh whats anoying me about this game is so many online player ALWAYS going for the fastest unlimited cars, zzzzz, the same old Zonda R and Murc works and nothing else. Why? Have a change and use some other cars FFS!

I thought people would be using the new DLC cars more. The Mclaren MP14-12C is awesome, really great to drive, I managed a 6.40odd around the ring means its quick for a level 15 car, but at that level (just missing out on 14) it has to go in the unlimited class with level 20 cars and lets face it, its not going to compete with the Lambo or Zonda race cars, even though people still keeping choosing these cars and then race off into the distance, where's the fun in that? So many people are interested in their stats of winning with shortcuts, wall riding and brake punting galore and not actually having close clean racing fun further down the pack.

On the same note, I wish more people would race level 10, it has the largest variety of cars that can run or be tuned to this level but online players rarely use it, and with the poor random lobbies I can go ages without racing one, when I set one up myself so many people exit the room.

Oh and re the new Monaco course, there are now little kiddies spending the whole race in one area rearranging the blue tyres to put full barriers across the road when we all come back racing around, ffs!

EA seriously needs some sort of strict penalty system, so the Destruction Derby cheating kids can race in their prefered option, and the clean decent racers in theirs, and then everyones' happy.

I've never played such a frustrating racer due to online stupidity. Rant over. :)

Couldn't agree more with all your points this is why I join the shift league. league races at weekends with a great group of guys and race with clean drivers in the week.

The New DLC is awesome! They pretty much copied the Monaco GP course, which is awesome. The only problem is the Port Blouce track. The new events are great too. I especially liked the 20 Lap endurance at Road America. It felt like a real endurance race with the rolling start. Using the MP4-12C, it was long, fast, and a great race in general.

Heres what I think of the cars:

Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss- One word defines this car: Smooth. The way it looks, drives, and accelerates is all smooth. It's even faster than the regular SLR. It has a little understeer, but is definetly the best looking of the group.
Honda NSX-This car is a truly great car. It's extremly fast when fully tuned. I took it online in some 14.00 rating races and I won around half of them. You have to really push it against faster competition. There was one guy that was trying to punt me, but I pulled away using NOS(even though there are some that protest it.)
Alfa 8C-It's performance is right behind the SLR. A bit of a warning though. The car can get tail-happy under heavy throttle.
Gumpert Apollo-This is the best example of a race car. It really requires great percision to get the most out of it. If your too soft, you'll be slow through a turn or understeer. Too hard, and you'll oversteer or spin.
Maserati GranTurismo-Even though It's got more power than the Alfa when fully tuned, it's bigger and heavier as well. It's got great handling though, and dosen't slide as much.
McLaren MP4-12C-This car was the biggest surprise. The way the car looks isn't really all that assuming, and the 15.80 rating didn't say much either. But when I drove the car, it was extremly different to what I excpected. It sounds like an absolute monster, and the speed is absolutely incredible! It's also the most fun.
BMW M1- This isn't really the fastest car, as I struggled to get over 150 mph. What makes it fast, though, is It's decent acceleration and perfect handling. The handling is what will win races. I took this car online and finished 2nd, beating another M1 and an MP4-12C

So I bought this and have no problem using the news cars/tracks in a quick race, or any of the new cars in existing tiers, but the new challenges are MIA. I have used L1 to scroll past Tier 1, but there is nothing there. What am I doing wrong?

They should be it goes. In career mode.
exotic/tier1/2/3/4 world tour or whatever
