New Generation Muscle Cars in GT5?

Been reading around here for a few years, but this is my first time post. I was wondering if anyone can confirm if cars like the 2010 Camaro SS, Pontiac G8 GXP, 2010 Mustang, 2009 Challenger R/T, 2009 Charger R/T etc. will be in GT5?

Thanks in advance.

Have you read the master list? sorry if I sound harsh but those are the only cars that have been confirmed. ;) :)

Although a 2009 Corvette ZR1 was seen in a GTMobile video today so theres hope for you yet.:sly:

The master car list is not correct at all, so that's nothing to look at...

Thats your oppion...a rediculous one I might add as most of the cars have been spotted but you're entitled to it.

We can't confirm u those cars are in, simply because we're in the same boat as u. PD hasn't released any news since E3

I'am guessing they might be in GT5. If not you will probably get them in DLC! That is just my guess!!:sly:

Thanks for all the help guys! I hope they are included, and yes I did look at the "list" but wasn't sure if anyone around here know anything that I don't. This game is the reason to get a PS3 just like GT4 was my reason to get a PS2. I don't mean to sound dumb but what is DLC? And if it is a download is it free? And also is internet free on a PS3 so long as you wireless high speed internet? Thanks for all the help, my PS2 has never been hooked up to the internet so I am all new to this. Thanks again.

DLC=downloadable content. Yes if you have Wifi the internet is free on the ps3. Also it will most likely cost money for the DLC if they come out with it. It is up to PD though. Unless its a major update with lots of cars and tracks i could not see it being more than 10 bucks.

The list is incorrect since it's not official, it is just our speculation.
No, the list is incorrect since it contains cars from GTHD Classic (GT4 with high definitoin) and these cars have never been seen in GT5's graphics.

Correct ,the list has a few cars that we have never seen with GT5's standards though most of them are confirmed.

Yes, but the first post also makes note of this & is the reason for the multi-colored text.

Thanks for all the help. I realize the "list" has some of the confirmed cars, but also when looking at the list I thought it was missing some VERY important cars that were in GT4 and some that have come out since then, and wondered exactly what we will be getting. Also I noticed a real lack of American Muscle Cars something GT4 had TONS of, and also all the new age muscle cars that have come out since GT4 that I like so much. So thanks again. I am just saying the "list" we keep talking about seems to missing a lot of things or this game isn't going to have very good car selection out of the box. But if the PSP version has 800 I have hope yet. Chances our if GT5 gets this many or even a few 100 more it should include some of the cars I want or at least with DLC.

Well they will eventually appear in the game. The 2 Dodge's are probably likely to make it, and maybe the G8 will be PAL released as a VXR8.

Many of the cars listed as confirmed, is not confirmed at all... Why don't you take a closer look?

EDIT: Here are a few examples...

Ford
Model T ('15)

Nissan
Skyline 1500 Deluxe (S50D1, '63)
Skyline 2000 GT-B (S54A, '67)
Skyline 2000 GT-R (KPGC110, '73)

Yeah this has been brought up many times. Those Skylines listed in the last post IIRC were the Skyline anniversary video PD made showing off many generations of Skyline, most were GT4 HD based until it got towards the end and showed the V36 sedan (GT5 based), I personally wouldn't have them as confirmed either but it's not my list.

I would like to see the new 2010 Camaro SS and the 2010 Mustang in their for sure. I would buy the game with only one car in it, so long as it's the 2009 Corvette ZR1 actually.

How do you know these cars haven't been confirmed? Take a closer look yourself & read the first post.
Cars in black have been seen in screenshots or have been confirmed by Polyphony through lists

Please show me GT5 screens that contains these cars and/or an article where PD confirms them. Then I'll be quiet...

For once I actually agree with this guy...and also if anyone does come up with them I can add them to te GTM list.

Sounds like the "list" is missing lots of cars and were not really exactly sure what will be in it.

Well with someone like PD you never know. They included a huge amount of forgotten classics as well as a couple of extra cars in the last game. Of course, we knew about some cars already from GT4:P back then (i.e. McF1 GT-R etc.).

The Master List also used cars and screenshots from the Vision GT project. They have been labelled as such with the colour coding.

The only actual pony car (no muscle cars have been shown) that was actually modeled is the Ford Mustang GT S197. We cannot confirm or deny the inclusion of any of the modern pony cars, or any of the older 60s-70s era muscle cars and pony cars of yore.

The actual list of confirmed vehicles (A GT5 model has either been seen or tested in game (the DOME for instance)) is as follows:

There was no images of the Dome S102, all we have seen is the Dome driver driving a car on lesathe with the bumper cam, nothing indicates beside assuming it was the Dome S102.

Also it is a little hard to say the Zele Performance Skyline Coupe (370GT btw not 350) is in as the car was copied from a GT5P tuner car, not the otherway around and it differs slightly anyway.
You're also missing the old Fiat 500/600 derivative which we have seen the interior modelling of.

Where have you seen it? Is it on the site somewhere? I'm somewhat new to the site (Beginning of June) so...

Came from a blog which some guy (a artist) who oragnised the downshift 2008 party in NY was invited to a PD studio tour. Same place the 370Z and C63AMG (in the making) pics were spotted.
