Hey everyone, Phalanx32 here. I'm new to GTPlanet. I played GT5 right when it first came out with my former roommate's g27/Playseat EVO combo, then stopped playing when I moved out until when I picked up the GT5 XL Edition for myself this past October. I finally just decided to make a forum account here at GTP. I've also been playing F1 2012 on and off since it came out. Non-racing games, I have a 360 and I play BF3 and Halo 4 pretty regularly.
I was playing F1 2012 and GT5 with a controller; I just ordered and am waiting for a g27 and a CNT Racing Simulator Type RA seat to arrive at my door (from what I can tell, the seat is just a GT Omega EVO with a different brand on the side lol).
I hope to join the GTP weekly racing series once I get my feet...or, tires, back under me using a wheel and pedals. I don't really know how I stack up skill-wise; I've never really raced competitively online, but I can tell from the look of this community that if I race here I will surely improve my driving skills. Hope to see some of you on the track sometime!
