I'm Robert, age 30, currently living in the lovely city of Landshut in Bavaria, Germany.
I have been using GTPlanet passively for some time now, first looking for information on GT5 Prologue and then GT5.
I am not new to the GT series however, having played the original Gran Turismo and GT2 on the old Playstation, as well as GT3 on the PS2.
GT4 I somehow missed as I was between jobs at the time and real life was exciting enough already.
I have been playing GT5 since it was available, until now only offline though with the DS3. But seeing all the glowing reviews, I have now decided to fulfill an old dream and get a good wheel with pedals, namely the Fanatec CSR Elite. If the experience with GT5 turns out as good as I hope it does, I think I might test the online waters soon as well, which is one reason I finally registered at these forums.
Well, that's about it I think, looking forward to meeting you all here!
