Okay, i was thinking about this one all day and i really want to know what you guys think about it.

CCCL Stands for: Certain Car, Certain Location.

Wich means, that the theme is basically Given as:

Car:
Location:

For example, a Toyota Supra at El Capitan.

It will be:

1. Very fair, everybody uses the same car AND same location, so votes will not be based on how the car looks.

2.
Competitive. It will be hard, because everybody uses the same car, so you really have to make your picture stand out.

Editing will be very LIMITED. This is to prove who is actually the best, without having the need of Photoshop. Brightness/Contrast is allowed, and Smudge tool to remove edges, but that's IT.

Polls will excist out of either 5 or 10 pictures, depending on the amount of shots.

If you like it or not, please do vote the poll.

I will be the Host, but we do need a Judge.

My Motto: The more competitions, the better!

I LOVE IT!

I don't have Photoshop now, so it'd be really cool to level everyone out in terms of car, location AND tools to make the pic look better.

I'm all for it.

I think thats a great idea. It makes it easier for me as I can never decide what car and where to go so this sounds great hope it happens!

Exactly, that was a problem for me too.
I think i can be the host, but we do need a judge who has good taste.

I agree, thats a cool theme, but use at less the PMC rules.

I didn't say "No tools" i said limited, and PMC has limited, right?
Edit: Only edits that are allowed are now included in my first post.

Rayquaza, that's a bit over the 'basic'...

At most, brightness and contrast would be fair for those who don't have an image edition program. Those things can be done using MSWord (which is what I'm using right now) and don't change the image as much as other tools, that make a big difference when aiming to 'perfection'.

Like above said, blur CAN be achieved in-game, and should not be allowed on this specific comp. That would make shooting-skill stand out a lot more, imho.

Yeah i know it's above the basic, and i actually wanted to keep the editing very limited in this competition.. to see who is actually good, without needing photoshop.

So, if there is any judge interested, i say this competition can begin.

Thats a cool idea Ray, there are sure going to be a lot of competitions around if Ultra starts the rally one again, I start the drift one and you start this. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. :D Just don't know if all these competitions could last.

I probably think there are currently a LOT of people active in the GT4 photomode section, so i don't think that will be a problem ;)

Not to bring the whole thing down, I like the idea but with me having the rally competition, people might think too many competitions are being made :indiff:

But I say go for it, you've got nothing to lose 👍

Nah there aren't too many competitions, you can't possibly have too much, as long as there's a variation people can choose what to enter :)

If i want to enter myself, i can't go and judge, because that would be pretty unfair.
Are you interested?

I wouldn't mind judging but, wouldn't it be easier to just put up a poll with the entrants shots?

Well yeah, but is that allowed? I tought there could be like, only top 10's. But, since i'm the host.. i think thats a great idea.

Or just let the previous winner be the judge like in all other comps... you would need one only for the first two rounds. I suppose the judge would only select the poll?

I like the idea but I would let the rally comp start first, or possibly let those two run on alternate weeks so that one comp would be open while voting in the other. In that case you would need to be pretty strict with the deadlines though or it would be messed up.

The first two weeks you could choose the theme and the top ten, but you wouldn't be able to enter because that we be unfair because you could always put yourself on the poll. After that the winner of week 1 will choose week 3's theme and top ten.

Atlop, i don't know if either me or Ultrashot wants to go first, but they will eventually be busy at the same moment..
And LOON, that sounds fine with me, i can live with the fact that i can't enter the first 2 times.

Well that simply depends, i don't know if there's a rule against 2 new competitions starting the same week or something alike, else i could simply Photoshop some nice images to make the competition look a little better and.. off we go i say.

Maybe you should get with Ulrashot and find out if he's still gauging interest in his rally comp and when he's planning on starting it.

I cant wait for it to begin im all hyped up now. I am going metal on Gt4 photo mode (Not neccesarily for this comp) but just went balstic in my 984bhp Dodge Viper SRT-10 listening to FatboySlim-Right Here Right Now. Its a good song and suits my dodge perfectly. Sorry if this isnt related to the subject but I couldnt hold it in any longer and cant wait for the comp to start. Could you tell me what car and track to start with....................................please I am desperate.

Nah, not really that desperate I will just wait like everyone else I am quite happy to.
Can we start it now if he is offline I am sure he wouldn't mind any way arent we probably going to enter his comp any how?

Ultrashot gave me the green light, so the first comp will be coming up today.

Well I voted for 'Yes, but with different rules' because I guess I am use to the 2.0 editing rules. I think they would have been a handy addition in this competition in order to make each picture unique, considering everyone is using the same car and track.

Then again, it would be good to have a minor editing comp like this again. 👍
