Im not sure if this was alrady posted (i tried looking for it). I was thinking today if a track day option would be on the final version. Like when on youtube you see clips of people going on track days where there are many differnt types of cars. Not racing for money just going around the track. For example: say the ring, you would have regular evos drivng around while someone is in a ferrari. Im talking about a track day, where people bring their cars; some better than others. Just for a good time. Make any sence?

What i mean is people would alrady be racing and you would join, say though the pits. It wont be racing for money. Just people going around the track. Like for open track days. People just go just go to around the track for money. All differnt types of cars. A good example already in the game would be the r34 timetrial. Your racing around but there are faster cars than you and slower cars than you. I think its preety fun. IMO

Track days? That's one of the many things I've mentioned in this thread: < https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=104747 >. In addition to this, I proposed the ability to be able to purchase race transporters so you can race many vehicles in a race for a track day. It's a way to make money as well as enhance your racing. Online track days are also a favorable consideration. You'd like to see Track Days, and I second that with this post.

Sounds like an online race to me, except people actually race online.

he means a trackday like these,no racing just a group of people having fun on a track in a non competitive sense.

few of us ran a trackday series with GT4 a couple of yearsback, was rather successful

And prizes to people with the fastest lap times, not the winners. Those who post the fastest laptimes leave whenever they want and when the trackday finishes they get rewarded.

Actually if you get caught timing your laps at a trackday you WILL be banned from them as that isnt what trackdays are for and it is against the spirit of them.

Trackdays are basicly what free practice was in GT4.

My guess is slim to none, but people will undoubtedly figure out a way to do it anyway - even if it means starting a race and completely ignoring the fact.

I like this idea, I thought of it before GT4 was released when there were rumours as to whether GT4 would be online, including the joining through the pits thing. Would be good.

Test Drive Unlimited is sort of like that.

You drive to the track, and can just mess around, but if you want to start a race you can go to the starting line and start or join a race there, which takes you to the track with just the racers.

I'd always wished TDU had gone that extra mile to make that game work better.
