I have a few ideas that would be nice to add to the Gran Turismo Sport Livery Editor.
1. Edit existing liveries - I was mildly peed off earlier when I spent 4 and a half hours doing the base design of the Merc AMG-GT3, but with different colours, for my eSports team. (BTW, if you know a league we can join, let me know).
2. Paint Bucket - Would save on decal counts, and therefore, time.
3. Make it possible to put a fricking livery on the Mercedes W08!

Cant you do this by opening an existing livery then saving it under another name?

- 15° incremental rotation (snap rotate)
- RGB colour selector
- grouped/compound decals for reusage
- increased decal quality (in game, not editor )

Also, auto-refine blurry SVG files for decals when uploading. It's annoying when your logo that you got from Discover, or uploaded, is really awkwardly rounded.

The improvements I would make are;

1. Firstly, fix the feature they took away where you could open a coloured decal/shape, and it would be recorded to the temp colour history, and you could also open it up and fine tune it in the colour picker section.

2. Have a decal history for each design so that it would make it easier to copy the same decal to different sides of the car, rather than going back to find the same decal in a possible list of 1000.

3. Talking of the saved decals, have different ways to order the saved decals, name, date acquired, type etc and also be able to the search the list by name.

4. Have an icon on saved decals to indicate whether they have been used on any of your designs so that you know which decals are safe to delete.

5. Be able to group decals so that they move as one, and can be copied to other sides of the car/helmet/suit.

6. Be able to freely move the virtual camera more easily to any position to aid in positioning items.

7. Be able to use colour chips on decals and shapes rather than just bodies.

8. And one that could be difficult, but not impossible. To be able to copy a whole design to a different car entirely. It would not be accurate, but it could be a start to get a similar design that could be fine tuned in a fraction of the time to starting again.

Don’t allow decals to disappear if the creators delete them from sharing.
Increase storage and allow us to rename decal favorites folders.
Add metallic and pearl options for in-game shapes.
Or the body color becomes a color pallet history item and retains its properties (metallic, pearl, flat etc.)

If they could find a way for the decals from your library to be saved on the users PS4, so that if the originator deleted the decal, that would stop them disappearing from your library. Now to get around possible copyright issues the decals could be encrypted so as only to only be readable in GTSport. You wouldn't actually have a usable decal outside of the game,

In fact they could do the same thing with replays and other files in the game. I have a 1Tb PS4 with hardly any games on it, and so very little space used, and I'm running out of space in the game. Save data on users PS4's as an option for those that want to do it, to clear space on the PD servers.
