If Logitech do produce a new wheel to replace the current G25 when GT5 is released would you like the following features?

Indicator and wash wipe stalks so you can indicate when you overtake the newbies and give them a flash of your main beam before doing so and of course turn your windscreen wipers on when its raining etc.

As well as a gearshift of better quality a hand brake also that you can clamp onto a racing drivers seat frame or your arm rest?

A mechanical feel to the clutch so you can actually feel the 'biting point' when enaging gears?

An airbag. (Joke):)

I think there will be another G25 around the time of GT5 release. Id like more buttons on the wheel (at least 3), a better shifter and a yellow strip at the top of the wheel like on real race cars.

Imagine the cost of having to replace the airbag after every crash, it could get pretty costly.

Yea would cost a lot. But they could put an air line with a small pump inside that would blow a blast of air into your face(this would make you jump a little untill you got used to it) but boy-o-boy would it be fun watching your friends crash the first time.

-More buttons on the wheel, just like GT DFP
-Bigger wheel size
-Stiffer gas pedal (adjustable strengths)
-Real-feel Brake bedal with ABS and brake lock feedback feel (adjustable strengths)
-Real-feel Clutch pedal (adjustable strenghts)
-Red and Blue GT logo on the wheel
-Better smoother and faster feedback
-Realistic feel shifter and sequential shift
-Setup 900, 360, 180, custom degree, on the wheel itself
-Force feedback strengths on wheel itself
-Glowing buttons for ease of sight at night
-Handbrake? Could be a 25 dollar add-on.
-Surprise me!

PS
Most (all) options above mentioned are on the Porsche RS wheel with ClubSport pedals I will recieve. So I think Logitech would have to do every feature listed above plus something new to the table.

A full gear shift ring, seperate to the wheel, so up is always on the right and down is always on the left. Chasing the shifter when your a little (or a lot HAHA) crossed up, really S:censored:s me!

I see, I would agree and disagree with the peddles stay in one place all the time.
It's good when you do huge turns..
But its bad when you do simple and medium turns.

So I like that Paddles move with wheel.

I think that Logitech should split the next wheel in 2 categories:

1- Normal Version (Cheep)
> Just a improved version of the G25

2- Pro version (expensive)
> Use belt instead of gears
> Fully customizable pedals
> More robust gear shift stick, and with changeable face plates
> 2 more buttons on the wheel
> A LCD panel, like the one in the new keyboard that they are going to release to replace the G15
> Control wheel degree and force feedback strength on the wheel
> Bigger wheel diameter, preferable the size of a real racing car
> Real leather on the wheel
> A analog handbrake

1. Work on all 3 platforms, ps3, xbox 360, and pc. This is the best feature of the new fanatec wheel. That option alone will bring in more buyers then anything else I can think of. It certainly sold me on it.

2. A much better shifter. The current g25 shifter is really a let down when compared to the quality of the rest of the g25.

Really pretty much the same things you guys have said. But the cross platform support is by far the biggest selling point for me. I can't see myself buying another wheel after the turbo s wheel, unless it's cross platform.

well the top of the line wheel from fanatec the 911 GT3 is PC only and may work with GT5 Prologue

He mention Tubo S
I think is almost the same features as the RS wheel, only RS (top of line) Works for PC mostly and PS3, but not all PS3 game. Lets just hope it will work with GT5P .

actually, I like the idea of airback that would knock out the rammers lights.. :mischievous: it should also be triggered when one uses a shortcut.

"HAHAA! I'll ram you of the track! Take THIS!" *BOOMF* "owwie.."

"Damn, I can't get away from him! Shortcut time, veetak engage!" *BOOMF!*

The best thing i think they could do. Would be to start a line of wheels with upgradble parts. wheels, Pedals, and SHifters. So as the technolgy advances i don't have to buy all new wheel sets.
