New Logitech Wheel, Awesome for drifting

yo yo i just got that new logitech wheel, whew it takes a while to get used to but when you get good at it you can real drift. i think its better than the controller because the controller all you really have to control is the stick, with this it makes the drift feel more real (because it has force feedback). if you got the logitech wheel post here i want to see if you think the same thing, or if you are looking to buy the wheel, ask me for any information. it ownz

I use one, and I wouldn't drift without one. It's that important. Check out the videos on my webpage below if you want, there's some good steering-wheel action in there. Stuff you couldn't practically do on a controller.

A new one? I assumed he meant he got a 'new' old one, as in not used. As far as I know there's just the GT Force (good) & Driving Force (ok), with the next one being released with GT4.

I use the Thrustmaster Force GT wheel (works with both PC and PS2) and I agree - if you don't have a force feedback wheel, its so much harder to drift properly ;)

Force Feedback helps so much - the wheels want to point where they want to be for the correct amount of countersteer, and minor corrections will help adjust the car.

Takes some getting used to, but its much more like a real car ;)

nutter.

i dun really like wheels cos they dun turn all the way...i would give it another chance but i havn't come upon a wheel i really liked. except for the one that is a kit...it has like a seat wheel and pedals so its like ur in a car. but i dunno where i can get it and i dun have room for it in my room

i broke the force feed back motor on my Logi and i can't even go straight now, im stuck with the controller and im not gonna buy the GT4 wheel when it comes cause it cost so damn much, i have to save up 4 my car.

Yea i believe there both logitech but one is for ps2 only one is for pc/ps2....didnt they have a new model witha shifter? heard they were redping them a whil eback?wonder if the new version will ocme soon

Why do people always knock the Driving Force, sure it has the problem of not shifting if turned passed 70% but its not that bigger deal, you get used to it and shift at different times; you get used to it, its no harder to learn than when some people made the switch from automatic to manual, infact its easier.

Also I have this wheel and it's built well, I've even played Initial D Special Stage with it a good few times and it still works perfectly, no broken force feedback etc, works with PC too :).
