At a Glance: Nissan Sport Concept

The Nissan Sport Concept, which will make its public world debut at the 2005 New York International Auto Show, is the latest in a series of dynamic performance/ youth concept vehicles, following the Nissan Actic and Nissan AZEAL concepts.

The Sport Concept is a dynamic three-door hatchback with a dramatic four-seat interior. It offers the look and feel of a sports tuner car, yet is conceived as an affordable, attainable vehicle for buyers entering the new car market for the first time. In my opinion this is going to kick ass. The interior pictures show the boost gauge.

Looks nice, and I really, really like the face. I wish they'd make an Cube/xB type wagon with this cars' face on it. :)

I hate that crap at the bottom of the front fascia, and those rims are incredibly gaudy. But, I'll agree it's a fresh look, although I think Nissan is overusing some of their design cues.

I don't like the holes in the spokes, other than that I think its a great design.

Honestly, it looks a lot like a shrunken, low-to-the-ground Murano. Not a bad thing, since the Murano is fairly handsome, but honestly this isn't the best look they could've come up with for a hot hatch.

Nissan? French? Of course, they do share many design studies with Renault.

Fussy, complicated design, just what every 17 year old wants for graduating high shcool...

Pretty cool to see a NEW car for a change rather than a scrappy reharsh of a former model. Looks alright too, hope the final design is similar to the concept.

You sure this isn't a chopped Clio? I wouldn't mind having a Nissan'd Clio as a Sentra replacement, and one as a mid-engined V-6 VQ35 like the Renault Sport. That would be awesome.

the back door looks like mazda 3
the car itself looks very nice .... I like the doors design and the side mirrors
somehow many parts look like using different cars design and combine them all into one
however, nissan mixed them real nice
I like it!

Wow, I'm impressed.. We get the nicer looking car for once. :dopey: Looked like a Peugeot 406 rally car at first but yeah it's more like the renault in the link. Does Nissan own Renault??

I think it was an conditional merger, with Renault mainly in control.
