Hey Guys ,
I have not been here in over 3 years , and have searched high and low on google for my question , and tried to join the PS3 forums ( couldnt join as I do not have a PS3 network code or a PS3 ) .
My question is this :
I have a Logitech Driving Force , Force FeedBack USB wheel (The Blue one ) that I have for the PS2 and was wondering if this wheel is compatable with the PS3 ?
Forgive me if I did not put this in the proper area , as I did not want to clutter the GT5 Threads with this question .

I think it is, you're talking about this one, right?

If so, yes. It even appears on GT5P wheel selection menu. And about the area of the thread, you're right posting it here and not cluttering the GT5 section, thanks man 👍.

Yes that is the Wheel I am speaking about .
As I called a game store here where I live today , and a kid said it would not work as it did not have a HOME button on the wheel for the PS3 ( what ever that is ? ) .
Well if it works on all the PS3 driving games I may go ahead and get a PS3 .

Its not that I can not afford a PS3 and a new wheel , but I get so sick and tired of nothing being compatible , from one system to the next , it may be marketing genius , but to a consumer it sucks !!!!!!!!
$299 for a PS3 , $150-$299 for a wheel , $50-$200 on a few games , almost a grand , that to me is over kill IMO , as I only play the driving games , I am not into the FPS , or sports .

Thanks !

Tell the kid he's an idiot. The HOME button of the PS3 is that black button on the lower middle of the controller (a PS logo, the one that opens the XMB bar and is used to turn on/off the console) and it isn't present in the Logitech G27 or the Driving Force Pro either and both work beautifully with the PS3.

Well I want to thank you for your replies , as I hooked up the old PS2 & the wheel tonight to get back into the racing for the PS3 , and found out my old Wheel I was talking about is wore plumb out , Have not used it or the PS2 in over a year , and when I try to drive Nurburgring , the steering wheel goes absolutely bonkers back and forth when you get above 120mph on any car & you loose control :(

So it looks like I am spending more money then I anticipated , a Logitech G27 will be my choice of wheel .

Thank again !

I just wanted to come back and update this & yes CarBastard was Correct in that this wheel does work on a PS3 , I bought a PS3 today and Dirt2 and it works great !
Even tried out the GT5 time trial demo and the wheel works with it too ....

But it is wore out ( 6 years old & served me well ) as it has a ton of slop in it and will be updating it to a G27 in a few weeks .
Need to also design a racing setup as a coffee table and a hard metal chair just kills the keester after several hours playing Dirt2 .

Anyway Thanks again :)
