Happy to see the Rosso Corsa is back, i didn't buy it last time , because it was before I started to collect the original car manufactures colours, next week I hope British Racing Green will also be back, I didn't buy that either :embarrassed:.

Due to a mistake by Amazon UK and the Courier service they used, I didn't get my pre-ordered Collector's Edition of the Game until several days after the UK Release date. 🤬

Eventually, after several days of nothing but apologies & excuses & still NO game, I had to cancel my order with them & get the last / display copy from a local GAME store instead ! 👍
But even then, don't think I "Discovered" the Mileage Exchange for the first couple of weeks. So I missed out on a load of Special Colours. :dunce:

It also still REALLY bugs me that I didn't buy the Blue Corvette when I had the chance, as I decided on getting (the now often repeated) Safety Car instead !! :banghead:

If anybody from PD is reading these threads on GT Planet...:gtpflag:would it be too much to ask for a decent selection of "Black" Special Colours ?
 PRETTY PLEASE

A few more Decals and Profile Poses shouldn't be beyond you guys either.

Judging by some of the Liveries created by various Players (Playa's ?), there's a shed-load of Artistic Talent out there.
Most of whom (I'm guessing) would jump at the chance to help PD improve / add to this already fantastic game in whichever way they could.

Lastly, thanks to all at PD for all that you've already done.

It's not like PD needs help from players to improve the livery editor. Just a good long look at the Forza editor should suffice. When they get it to that level, I'd talk about improvements. Right now it's just making a proper livery editor.

*coughs* K1 - K9 black (matte would be nice.) *coughs*

(I'll put that on GT3 and LMP1 cars just to let you all suffer in the night races.)

K tends to be more grey, so you'd be looking at K5 at least, if not K7. We've already seen K3 Matte, and both K2 and K3 Half-Matte, and they're quite grey - but also the highest numbered K paints we've ever had.

Based on what we've seen so far (like: B1-8 and all finishes, but no B9; G1-9 and all finishes; Y1-5 only; R1-3 only) , I run a sort of estimate for how many paints there are in total. At present we've had 349 paints, of which 74 were manufacturer or Colorshift. That's 275, from a current estimate of 512.

Didn't get the Rosso Corsa first time either. British Racing Green you say? Drat, missed that to.

No need for silly math , a guy on the forums got a debug patch and has a list of the entire color palet . Unless PD decides to not use certain colors , the current pallet is already known .

Yes, applying reason to patterns is just so silly.

Several people were affected by the Debug Menu issue before it was patched out. I spoke to them, and wrote the article GTPlanet published about it.

I don't recall it ever being posted anywhere, just the comments that it was more than 500 of them - which the 'silly math' based on the patterns thus far happens to agree with.

I did get the Road Car when it came around last time, in Silver I think. But it looked damn good in Blue !!
Obviously I could try & do a livery to try & copy it.

If you have the Laguna Blue Tintcoat paint chip, you can paint it yourself or maybe ask someone in the liveries thread if they have the car and this paint chip and if they can upload it :).

There's no pattern , PD seems to hand pick the colors as they have put up popular colors up more than least popular ones . The guy who did the Debug thread even put a video , you can litteraly see every color ,

Famine isn't trying to predict what colors will come, when. Famine is trying to predict how many colors their are.

Is there a link to the color list you've mentioned?

There's no pattern ,
There are plenty of patterns.

Look at W. All W paints have been 1 or 2. There have been no W3-9. There's been no Wx Dark either. That's a pattern that tells you where the limit of W might be.

Meanwhile G has had every number and finish - although not every combination yet - which is a pattern that suggests G might not be limited.

B is similar to G, except there's never been a B9. That doesn't mean that there won't be, but that there hasn't been one yet suggests a limit.

R, O, Y, P and K all have their own patterns from the paints that have so far been distributed. There's even a pattern to how often they come and how often they repeat...

I did a check of my Special Colours:
Tuesday 27/03/2018 = 276 (out of 299) so I’m missing 23 from the first two/three weeks !! :grumpy:
Tuesday 24/04/2018 = 326 (out of 349) so I’m STILL missing 23 from the first two/three weeks !! :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

So it appears that NONE of the Special Colours from the first 2/3 (?) Weeks have ever been repeated ! :banghead: Is that Correct ?
As I'm pretty sure that I've collected them all since week 3 and I have seen quite a few repeats.

I'll check for the Laguna Blue thanks for the info...but pretty sure that the car also had some Carbon Fibre or maybe Black details on the Hood etc.
And that would be beyond my current skill level to recreate. :( So I'll search the Livery section & hope that somebody else has done all the Hard Work. Else I'll have to get out my Begging Bowl (again) !!
