New Patch(nvm) solved

So I just got on Shift 2 on the xbox 360 version and there seems to be a new patch. 4mb. I recomend that ps3 owners check.

*edit* I found out my problem. Everytime I switch from Gta 4 and Shift 2 there seems to be a bug that forces me to download a 4 mb patch. Sorry about the confusion everyone.

No patch for PS3, my game still freezes while reach 175 mph :grumpy:

I've had the game since release date, I played it the night before the update. Can someone that owns the xbox version clarify that it isn't just me that got the update? I'm not trolling...

Did you by any chance clear your system cache by accident? I've got it on the Xbox and the PS3. I'll have a look at the Xbox version to see.

Update: I just loaded up my XBox copy and wasn't prompted for any patch update. Still the same. Again.., I wonder if your patch data somehow became corrupt.., or got cleared out of your cache.

I don't think I cleared my cache(I don't even know how). Do you happen by chance live outside the US? Maybe region might come in to play.

But you maybe right, I might have accidentally deleted something.

I live in the USA. Can't you check to see what version your patch is? Patches do get released at different times based on region and console. I however find it odd that one would be showing up for the XBox right now with ONE person showing an update thus far.

We have been eagerly waiting for EA to release a patch that they're "supposed" to be working on. The whole possibility of a patch is being heavily monitored by many. If one was released for the XBox and was region based.., this forum would have blown up with responses already.

How can I check which version I have on the Xbox? Also, I have heard that some regions get updates sooner then others. I really hope it wasn't my from corrupt data or anything.

I thought it popped up briefly during load up (could be wrong though). Can't you just go into your hard drive and check your game files for Shift? It has been a while.., but I think I used to go into the hard drive to look at my game files to determine the patch version.

I am looking through my saved files in shift 2, I can't seem to find any patch versions.

Did you notice any changes in the gameplay? Input lag, handling?

Anyway 4mb doesn't sound like much improvement. And i also don't recall that any of the previous patches were 4mb.

It does feel like the input lag for the pad has been reduced, but I'm not sure, it could just be my imagination.
 
There is no patch he must have either cleaned his chache or didn't have the second patch cause i just logged in and no patch
 
There is no new patch, but still there is a hope for ps3 users. There is DLC with some new cars announced but without releasing date. So maybe just before they put those cars on psn we finally get some improvements :ouch:

Really? I dont see any info about new dlc on official site. Can we have a link?
 
They even unlocked the new cars on the PC version for free and we cant even get a simple patch to fix bugs in the console version.... Im selling my gear and getting a PC and some very cheap games with free mods and DLCs instead...
 
I know that, but those cars are already in Shift 2 DR Disc. How to unlock them for ps3? i have no idea, only way is to download some info from psn. And for that we have to wait.

But still those cars were made by SMS not by fans, they are not mods. Just a simple small piece of entire game. I'm stil waiting like for those few cars :/ Zonda Cinque and Agera.
