New Person here, and steering wheel question

I'm new to these forums, but I've followed GTPlanet for about a year now. I've played Gran Turismo since GT2 came out for PS1, and I've always owned Playstations. And I love cars (no 🤬), but you'll know me more later.
And I'll be using this 🤬 alot.
Question? I'm getting a GT Force wheel for Christmas (I'm not spending more than $150 on a wheel and chair). Will the wheel work for other racing games other than GT5P and GT5? Will it work for GT4 on the PS3?

It will be compatible with any PS3/PS2 game that supports a wheel. Whether played on PS2 or PS3.
