En Englishgarj?

I'm sorry but my foreign languages are lacking. It looks alright, but I never liked balck for early photos of cars.

[EDIT] Will the pistons come up through the bonnet? (hood)

Side pipes by the front tyre? I know where they got the idea from...

I'm sorry to say, but thats not even real. Note the tyres...

But this has to be a poorly designed car. I don't think it will even bench production.

Wow, you're smart. :P

Sadly I have to agree with you, it will forever be a concept. But from what I see in those poorly angled pictures it looks not only good, it looks awesome. But it will never function on the carmarket. The only flaw I can find is the rear assemblance of the Chrysler Crossfire. It doesn't fit in that well

I'd gladly drive one of those if they were available, slightly rear modified, and I could afford it.

Hmm why do you say this LM? I kinda like the design only thing that looks weird is that the rear lights are a bit similar to the Audi TT. Other then that the exterior is just amazing. Engine is ok too 500 HP V12.

I love this car. The glass panoramic roof is a great feature IMO. Classic shape too...

There is also another cracking looking Peugeot lurking around justnow: the 407 Silhouette. Mid engined V6. They might even produce it in small numbers.

And who said French cars were crap? 👍

Even if they got aroud to making that, who'd spend approx £200,000 on a Peugeot?

Looks similar to the club/heart concept of a few years ago one diesel(club-black) the other petrol(heart-red) I think that was there names, they made enough for a one make race series in France its on satalite tv here in the UK occasionly pretty slick looking cars that should be in GT4 :) .

(edit) OK the championship is called Peugot RC Cup and the cars are powered by a diesel engine :yuck: but they sound good tho with there hissing turbos :) its on motorstv here in the UK as I write.

Forgive me for quating a press release :(

Peugeot:

Day to day dreams create different desires that fade or disappear as dawn breaks. Sometimes, they leave a strong impression but often, only a memory remains of the dream, nestled deep in one's sub-conscious.

Stylists, engineers and designers from different generations, all have these dreams. They, however, can turn their dreams into reality; they can express their dreams through their designs.

As a group, they enthusiastically swap ideas, discuss concepts and agree on the particular ideas. The Peugeot 907 is the result of such a dream. It is a GT coupe, created with reference to the past, the present and the future.

This is the archetypal touring car, discreet, but processing a sculpted and elegant shape, luxurious on account of the choice of materials it incorporates, and also extremely sporty as a result of its styling and its unrivalled engineering credentials.

The 907 is a two-seater coupe, modern but also classic. As in the time of the great coachbuilders, this coupe embodies one of the finest engineering dreams of combining a large capacity engine within a classical shape, achieving a genuine synergy of advanced technology and motoring tradition.

The 6.0 litre V12 engine (368 kW or 500 bhp) is positioned longitudinally behind the front axle; connected by a small propshaft, it transmits its power to a six-speed gearbox placed longitudinally in front of the rear axle.
The wheelbase of this GT coupe is 97.5 in, its length 170.4 in, its width 73.3 in, while its height culminates at 47.2 in and its passenger compartment, designed to accommodate two people comfortably, is situated just ahead of the rear axle to allow for a long bonnet. The kerb weight is around 3000 lb.

The structure consists principally of a carbon fibre shell, to which the mechanical components, for example, the four double wishbone suspension units, are attached. Set into the bonnet, a glazed panel reveals twelve intake trumpets reminiscent of a fairground organ.

The roof and front windscreen form a single glazed area in harmony with the rear windscreen. Side vents are situated in the front wings and rear quarter panels, adjacent to the glazed roof, while a retractable rear spoiler is incorporated in the tailgate. Two exhaust pipes emerge from either side of the car, which is equipped with 18'' wheels and Michelin tires, 275/40 at the front and 345/35 at the rear.

The body is painted Molybdenum Grey.

Brown leather and light grey alcantara trim is used to cover both the interior and the seats. The steering wheel rim and the gear lever knob have authentic wood inlays. The instrument panel, although digital, is displayed in analogue style and the touch screen of the central console is connected to a PC (GPS, MP3 player, etc). A special area has been developed for storing luggage in the 907.

Love the front, the back doesn't look to "right", but it's not at all ugly. Don't know anything about Peugeot though; there not in the US. I'll take a look at them latter.

Not wanting to rain on the parade here, but Peugeots aren't the most reliable cars ever made...

"who can we rip off now? We need a front engined high powered car.....lets se..ferrari, too risky, Viper...too familiar...Mercedes SLR! Yes, tweak the nose here, add Peugeotl ights there....the side pipes...the proportions... Perfect! This is "our" new car.

I understand the importance of branding and all, but they canNOT use those lights on that car. If that ever goes anywhere near production and looks like that it'll be a shame.

Peugeot's not reliable - I did 80,000 miles in 2 and a half years and the car never let me down once. It returned 45 - 52 to the gallon and only received routine servicing and it was only ever cleaned by the garage every 12,000 miles.

But it was as boring as hell !

Could be a SLR ripoff. Still I thinks it looks awesome, I don´t care.

(now if that was the point of bringing MB:s design up as an issue of lettin peugeots down as a copy..)

Its kinda growing on me. Its engine is interesting.

The front looks like a crazy clown! Man that would be freaky if it was painted red.
It loosk alright, but I still think only the French would buy it.
