Beginning September 1st

For those of us luck enough to be in Asia at present we can look forward to an exclusive seasonal event at Tsukuba using the Nissan GT-R Spec V (GT Academy Special) which is also received as a prize for entering.

Any drivers fast enough to come in the top spots from their region will progress to a cross regional competition. Winners from there will compete for the title of all Asia champion and 10'000HK$ worth of goodies.

Have you just left Asia or something? I'm not sure if people with a Asian PSN ID will be able to compete even if they're not in the region. Someone will have to experiment.

Allready had this event.
The US as they know, don't count for any thing in PD eyes any more, So Did not get the car.
be aware that it unlocks the same way prize cars do.
So BACK UP the save game after its unlocked. Its not got a download code.

Its got the paint scheme of a stealth but the stripe and logos of a Chrome line.

I didn't realise it was the same competition you guys had. Why does it need backing up after the car comes? Do you mean just save the game data to USB?

It only adds the car to your specific save game. If you lose the save for what ever reason you lose that car for good.
So yep Back up your save file to USB.

Nope.

Can't be rented or traded, All you can do is show off, Its a cross between a stealth and a chrome line. Nether of those can be rented or traded ether.

Well, I gave it a shot this morning for around an hour. Top time is 59.3 something, the best I could manage was 124th with a 1.01.3. I still have plenty of time to practice but I doubt I'll be getting close to the fastest time!

What I'm going to try tonight is run the car for a few hours and hope for engine break-in so I have a power advantage
