New To Drifting : RX-7 : Need Help

Hi peoples
Im Brand New to Drifting im using my sixaxis controller because im too broke to buy a wheel. i just bought Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02 Fresh from the dealership now i need to know what to buy and how to tune it Please any comments, random tips, technique, tracks will be greatly appreicatedd

You should check out the drift settings depot. I'm pretty sure there is a setup for a '02 RX-7.

Easy.

- 350-400hp (360 seems nicely balanced)
- The usual:all driving aids off, comfort tires
- Full suspension, make only 2 adjustments: bring front spring rate DOWN to match rear, and zero out rear toe. Adjust to taste from here.
- Adjustable diff 10/30/10
- Transmission set to your liking

And the car is absolutely brilliant on many tracks without adjustment. So brilliant, in fact, that you may want to learn drifting on another car so you don't get spoiled by how easy the car is.

Learn to drift it stock, then tune it.

That was actually one of the first cars i started drifting in in GT5. I bought some other cars after that so it was a while ago since i drifted it. Last night i took it for another spin around Tsukuba and it was wonderful! Its very foregiving and the gears are nice!

I'd say that a Silvia is easier to drift overall, possibly because of the weight of the engine at the front - the RX-7 tends to need a faster speed to take the car all the way through corners sideways.

yea i think ive noticed that about the silivia, so im thinking of trying it out but i dont know which one to buy :S and about how much will tuning cost i ran low on dosh cuz of my RX-7 <3
