I actually got this for my birthday in december but due to firmware problems Ive only just got to play it! After the ps3 version I wasnt sure what to expect and got a shock when I saw the dealerships (4 manufacturers!) Then I noticed they change quickly and soon built up some nice cars. I then sent the garage to the ps3 (Arcade mode only?) and had some fun with the psp. Just a pity you can't send some of the tracks across, many of which were new to me.
Couple of questions now- cars that appeared earlier in the dealership but then replaced, do they reappear? Also when in a race what does the yellow triangle mean that appears near your HUD? It comes on then goes off. Also when I get it online will there be the equivalent of seasonal events to race?

Cheers all!

Every two days the dealerships change. I believe that they are on a 70 day cycle (35 different dealership combinations). So, yes, they will come back around again.

I'm not sure what the yellow triangle is, but I'd venture a guess that it's a driving aid: traction control (TCS) or active stability management (ASM). I have all driving aids turned off, so I don't see that in my HUD.

No events online. Sorry. We here at GT Planet do have an offline 'time trial' event each and every week. Feel free to join in any time: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=226

Not only that, but there's also an entire log of dealership cycles which apparently differs by the starter car you have. You'll find it at the top of the page, just so you know.

And the WTACs and random event generators help create fun out of boredom sometimes.

Ah yea, I have it set to TCS1 and ASM till I get used to the controls, will have to try it withh co.trols off, at least on the regular cars ( I also have a Mercury muscle car which is next to useless and a Protomotors/Ollium Spirra V8 which is pretty pokey! Thanks for the link BTW but Im not really into time trials and such- its just a game in the end.
