New to the Game with an RUF RGT '00

Sup fellas!

New to the game, got it just for the (edited by Mod) 🤬 of it and just like kicking back sometimes and racing for the goods.:) (I retired racing in real life)

question:

I just bought a Ruf RGT to beat the proffesional NA sport and somewhat modded it. Did the full race suspention mod, but the handling is still weak..rufs are suppose to handle better than this (In real Life)

I Also have on Racing Medium tires..

What can i do to improve the handling on this car! Thanks

Stiffen up the spring rates alittle and play with the settings until the car feels right to you, or look up MFT and see there ruf. It's fast and handles well.

That makes twice in the last two hours that I've promoted them... :odd:

EDIT: When you're in practice/before a race, there's a red toolbox. Click it.

Thank you guys for all the help..

I have my B,A,IB,IA licenses. I completed all beginner Events with gold and i'm almost done with Professional Events. I have about 10 cars right now..just taking my time with them..

Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

advicement? stick to light cars. for example Miata'04, MR2 ( except the last generation) MGF, BMW 120i.. don't go for heavy or big power cars right away. handling is more important than speed.

werd on the handling part..the three cars that i have modded and are my favorite so far is a B6 S4, Sti, and the RuF..Planning on getting an Mz coupe with the s52 engine and use that for most of my races..

that is a good choice indeed. it'll get up around 400+ bhp, which is enough to beat the BMW M-cars race, which delivers you M3 GTR.

yup thanks.

And also i just used the tuning guide from MFT on the RGT and damn it improved everything..the gearing ratios made the biggest difference imo.

Btw, what is the Driving Mission place? What is the use/ purpose for it..

yeah, Ruf's kind of "suck" in GT4.., weak brakes, :yuck:

@ Soprano 3 1 3 - hey, why you kwaying (crying)??

The RGT isn't too bad. Brakes aren't awesome, but they get the job done reasonably.

Might be able to get away with a little more rear brake pressure, which will allow for more front pressure, and shorter stopping distances.

I dunno. I like mine stock.

Lol.., j/k

It would of been the perfect time to release my RGT but I've been slacking the past few days. It has 496hp on S3s and I personally have no problem with braking or cornering with my own settings. It feels like an AWD paltform.., Actually very similar to an EVO (- any understeer).

I couldn't help but  at that. But then again, between MFT, RCV & the near defunct AT (since Holdenboy's become a GT5P freak! :P), most of the decent cars have been taken in one form or another. There's no harm in showing us your setup anyway and seeing if you can top the MFT monster. đź‘Ť

 Yea there will still be a presentation, but its less of a priority now.
I have a couple other things lined upyou guys mite like.
