Ok, so with the help of motor city tuning guide (I thank you for the awesome guide). I took the old base tune, back to the track. Ran a test laps to get a feel of the car again. Then went back into the setup workshop and created this. It's still not a master piece, but handling is greatly improved, transmission is alot smoother & faster, LSD has been re-tuned for smoother braking & cornering (Might need a few little adjustments still) & the suspension has been re-tune for smother feel (Few adjustments still needed though). But overall it's a much better setup than in my previous post, cars feels alot easier to drive :) Best lap time on Grand Valley Speedway - 1:48.566

So here the new tune I came up with (Using A DS3)

Not sure when you need it, but I've been looking for something to try. I might have a tune for you in the next few days....maybe :nervous:

Thanks that'd be great, any time is fine. No need to rush (Currently playing dead island:scared:) lol

Maccer42 has one for the '93 that may work on the '91, at least for a start. Unfortunately the éfini won't be able to match the Spirit R tuned to the same level.

Thanks, i'll give it a go and see how it goes :)

:odd:...This is strange, it appears that I do not have this car :banghead:. I will be checking the UCD and when I find one, it will be tuned... it just may take a little bit :dopey:

Been working on a base tune for it this morning, which managed the time of 1:49.231 which is almost a second faster than the default setting. But it does understeer during mid corner & exits, I'm sure it can be fine tuned to fix the understeer.

So here the tune I came up with (Using A DS3)

Car: Mazda Efini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 (P)
Max Power: 555BHP/7900RPM
Max Torque: 54KGFM/6900RPM
DriveTrain: FR

PP: 567

Rear Aero:
20

Transmisson:
211MPH

LSD:
15/25/5

Suspension - (F/R)
Ride Height: -15/-17
Spring Rate: 10.8/13.7
Dampers Extension: 7/7
Dampers Compression: 3/6
Anti-Roll Bars: 2/6
Camber Angle: 1.4/1.8
Toe Angle: -0.17/-0.05

Brake Balance:
7/7

Racing Softs (R3)

Please let me know what you guys think, still a working progress 👍
This is my first real attempt in making a tune, please be nice :scared: lol

IMO I would tune it on sports tires even if you plan on running on race tires. Should help to dial in the balance better than trying on R3s. Even R1s would be better for tuning so the tires aren't compensating for settings that could use a tweak.

I'll give this a run over the weekend if I can. So far I have only done the FC but been wanting to have a shot at an FD.

Thanks for the pointer, I'll swap to sports softs and run some laps with the default setting & my base setup to see how the car behaves. I'll post some updates some time today or tomorrow :)
