Got photoshop on a 30 day trial :clock: and can I hel* work out how to make an avatar.

The Ulead Gif animator was great but Photoshop is huge..

Can an experienced user give me a step by step guide to makeing a gif animation in photshop?

You can't make animations in Photoshop... you can make the individual frames for the animations, but you then must export them to an animation program, such as Adobe's ImageReady or Macromedia's Flash (though Flash has a horrendous time working with bitmap images).

Or Jasc Animation Shop or Ulead GIF Animator.

I know Photoshop is huge - it is a lot easier to work out than Macromedia Flash. ****in hard as all **** Flash.

Ah well looks like I'll have to by Ulead Gif then..

I found Photoshop very handy for downsizing pictures and maintaining quality :thumbsup:
