Currently I have a Logitech DFGT with an adapter. It seems to be doing quite well on the game right now as I often find myself inside or close to the top 10 in Europe for the FIA Nations Cup (apart from the Nurburgring GP and Kyoto Driving Park tracks for some reason. I'm just not good at those at all
). I have been thinking about moving to the Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster T300RS in the future at some point. If I do, which one should I get?
From what I understand so far:
G29:
- A bit less expensive than the T300.
- Will probably last a bit longer.
- Quicker FFB than my current wheel (I don't run much FFB though so probably won't make much difference to me).
- Same FFB system as the G27 and gear driven.
T300RS:
- Belt driven FFB, much smoother than the G29.
- Probably an outright better performing wheel.
- The main thing though is the reliability. I think a poll was done on GTPlanet a while back which ended up with about half of T300 owners having at least one issue with it.
If I do get one of these, I intend to use it for a while. Just a side note, but when the PS5 comes out the T300 would probably be more likely to have upgradable firmware to support it unless GIMX, DriveHub or some other adapter will be able to make wheels work on the next console too.
If anyone has used these wheels, what has been your experience with them? Thanks!!![GTPlanet Flag :gtpflag: :gtpflag:](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/gtp-flag-2x-animated.png)
