Does anyone have a resolution to share for the coming year? How will you improve your life by making yourself false promises for change? (Or, if you are determined, true promises)

My new year's resolution is to sell most of my non-automotive stuff so I can buy more automotive stuff.

Here's my resolution:

My resolution is kinda long, but to keep it short, I'm setting out to be a better me.

I plan to make things right with people if the need be. There's a lot of room for self-improvement, and there's people on here who know what I'm talking about from firsthand accounts. I've been looking back on myself throughout the night, and I've concluded that I've not been the best person I can be. I feel the need to change that, and not just for my own personal benefit.

To those who have serious resolutions, best of luck hanging on to them, and I mean it.

Mine's pretty simple. Get my health back in order.

Make better decisions and not flirt with every girl I see. Seriously, it makes them think I like them and then get angry if they see me with another girl... I also want to come back from my knee injury stronger than ever and I plan on working harder at everything I do. 👍:gtpflag::gtplanet:

That's almost exactly what I was going to post, but frankly I didn't have the balls to. I really haven't made too many, if any, friends on GTP, and having internet friends with the same major interest (cars) as me would be nice. It's really my own fault I don't have them.

My resolution for the past few years has always been the same, which is to be the better me. That's the only resolution that you can really do, the rest is just things you all want to do within the next year. I don't consider that much of a resolution.

...But I have a decent amount of things that I want to do this year. Some involve a few of the mentioned above, and I'm not gonna quote them because I'm a bum. These are also in no particular order.

  • Get laid
  • Avoid getting Whamm'd
  • Resume hitting the gym (I ain't gonna hit that 405 squat sitting around playing GT6)
  • Become a better guitarist
  • Hope Thrustmaster responds to my E-Mail about my warranty about the wheel that somehow broke so warranty can save my ass
  • Get a girlfriend
  • Travel. I want to drive south, hit Carowinds, and drive north, hitting various amusement parks along the way.
  • Go to concerts (The Foo's, Silversun Pickups, maybe Rush and Tool if they tour)
  • Make new/revisit old friendships
  • Get laid (again)
  • Build a computer (Or just upgrade the hell out of mine)
  • Get a job (to fund traveling and computer and college and grills and gym)
  • Apply to community college

That's the tip of the iceberg, but I think it should give you an idea of who I want to be this year, which is just an extension of who I am. And sorry for the grocery list, I kinda ramble sometimes.

Oh, and I will revisit this throughout the year, and cross things off as I get it done. Gives me some incentive.

Oh! Umm... A few for me would be:
To finally be out to everyone
To find a boyfriend
To get in shape and stay in shape
Avoid getting Whamm'd
Find a part-time job
Make friends with more people
Always stay on the positive side of life :)
Find laughter in the little things
To keep up with school work

Quite simply, I just found one and its actually most applicable to everything: Get better. Whether its my grades, my health, my Mental state or my hobbies, just get better.

Not screw it up. That is all. Also, not get Whammed. Because Jordan's trap was epic. And Epic is my middle name. Really, it is.

With 7 Likes, I just had to ask... what's wrong with what I said?
Nothing.

You said females, not female. :P

I'd be very happy if I could "acquire" one female (girlfriend). You apparently need more than one. :D
