So, I've seen this camera on offer in work, I can get it for about £100 which I felt was a pretty decent deal.

However, I don't know much about cameras but this does appear to fit my needs. Primarily, affordable. But also, a great zoom. I'm not looking to shoot anything too arty but I do go to the occasional motorsport and airshow event and would benefit from a great zoom and pixel count. I don't need compact, I have a phone that still pulls it's weight in that department.

And I'm really struggling to find a decent pool of reviews. So, I ask you guys, as you're the most knowledgeable people, evah!.

It looks like, at least according to Fuji's website, that there is no 4240 but instead a 4200. Specs and images looks the same so that might help with the review searching.

I think the general consensus with the likes of Canon, Nikon, Fuji, et al is that you're (generally) pretty safe with any of their products. As you have easy access to it, hold it and see how it feels in your hands. If it's not comfortable, you're not likely to enjoy using it.
