So I've submitted my Qualifier times (still waiting for my evaluation), and I see that we are supposed to be able to post our replays in certain instances.

So, how do we post replays?

I don't have a PC near my PS3, nor do I have a capture card.

No m8. If you save your replay. Then come out of the game and look in your Game Saves folder on the PS3. There will be the replay you saved ingame. just hit triangle and copy it to a flash drive. put it on your PC and then send the file to Sphinx.

Hi Motzkopf

You don’t have to submit a replay, unless maybe you’re in the 10 top of a division so long as you have sent your times, full lap, T1 and T2 along with your GTP_tag request.

I’m sure in that when Sphinx gets the time to review these all will be sorted.

Submiting a Requested Replay:

If a request is made for you to supply a replay, we will contact you via PM and supply you with all the relevant information you need in order to carry out the request.

Step Three:
Submitting Your Registry Request

If a request is made for you to supply a replay, we will contact you via PM and supply you with all the relevant information you need in order to carry out the request.

yes, ok

I have the same problem, in WRS 19 I'm third in division 4.

It says that every podium finisher needs to verify his replay. But i didn't get a request IN PM like this:

"Submiting a Requested Replay:

If a request is made for you to supply a replay, we will contact you via PM and supply you with all the relevant information you need in order to carry out the request."

And because i really don't know how the hell winzip works i'm a bit worried.
My replay is already save to a HD and sits now on my pc, waiting to get posted... But I don't know how...

Help please, about winzip!

For the WRS qualifier, you will only need to submit a reply if requested by a GTP Race Admin via PM. Since times for the qualifier must be kept secret, your replay should never be posted, and should only be sent directly to a race admin after receiving a request.

For WRS events, replay requests are made in the results thread, and replays should be posted in the results thread for review by other racers.

Winzip is not required to compress or post a replay, but can be used.

This post, from the IFTC event, details how to copy a replay to your computer and compress it. However, instead of uploading the replay to the GTRP database, you'll add it to your thread reply, by clicking on the "attachments" button (the little paperclip icon) in the tools pane of the reply dialogue.

Tx for the explanation mate, really.

But i just found it out myself. You know what the problem was? I had the folder with the replay in it next to winzip on my desktop. And me sitting there wandering how I needed to get from a folder to a zip file... I searched winzip for a button, read through the help, asked questions here... After about half an hour i thought "Wait a minute!' And i clicked with the right button on the replay folder. It just sits there saying "add to blablabla.zip",

man i feel so dumb now...:dunce:
