Hi

I still new to the game less than two months.
I thinking should I be purchasing car from the dealer looby?
Or should I wait until I completed all offline programs 1st?

I ask because I have purchased two cars & the next day or so I now been given the same car twice for completing test etc.

Hell I just about to read up on tuning cars because I can't find a good YouTube video explaining how to properly tune a car
... Lol yes I that new to the game.
What did you do? Did you wait or did you spend your credit?
Should I waste my miles in the Miles exchange or should I be using that somewhere else?

I could not see a post to help me, answer those questions yet...

Hi and welcome!

You will win cars by completing various challenges and also by completing the daily mileage. However you are not able to sell any of the cars you're gifted, but you can sell the cars you have bought (for a lot less though).
So if you desire any particular cars, you can buy them and sell if you should win any of them.

You can't spend the Mileage points anywhere else than in the Mileage Exchange, so feel free to buy everything you desire there.

There is a dedicated tuning section in this forum, so have a look there.

Bit wrong there. You also needs mileage points for upgrading the power and weight of the car. How much is it depends on the original Cr cost of the car itself.
Aah yes ofcourse, I completely forgot about that.

Money and miles are easy to come by so use what you need. I just got the game on Saturday, the Spec II edition and it came with 2.5m credits, I've done (in order, all gold); the beginner series, driving school (silver on 40 & 46), and the first tier of missions. I'm sitting at around 2.6m credits and about 50k miles, with about 30 cars in my garage.

That said, spend freely, you'll make your money back one way or another.

Yea,
I was just trying to see if anyone that had it for a long time, would do things differently when it cine to spending.
But thanks for your input

It's hard to know, prize cars are randomized so just drive what you want and sell those you don't.

Do all the Driving Lessons, Challenges and Circuit Experiences and you'll get a nice amount of money, 10 million, along with dozens of prize cars. That's my advice to starters.
Unfortunately the days where you could farm Nurb 24h and hit the credit limit in a day are gone, but hey what can you do.

The Daily Wheel will give you more duplicate cars then anything else, you’re best off to just buy the cars you want as you want them. Then if you get a duplicate on the wheel you can just sell the car you bought for some cash. :)
Do people really do this? Maybe I’m alone in my way of thinking but I’d rather use the absolute first version of the car that I got, either through a purchase or given to me as a gift because then all the kilometres driven with that car is saved and not either split up or deleted and restarted just so you can gain a few extra hundred thousand (?) for selling a Gr.3 car.

Anyway @Hygrade B, you’ll be getting lots of cars without spending a penny through beating offline challenges as well as the daily workout obviously. I would recommend to just settle with that and keep saving your credits.

If you're trying to win all races in GT league, you're going to need a very expensive car for the Nostolgic Pro series. More than likely, if you're brand new, it will be one that costs 20 million credits(which is also the money cap, imagine that ;) :) So, something to keep in mind. Spend, but also, save when you can.

I just made a new profile and started the game over on my ps4. On that save, I am only buying cars I need for credits so I can hit 20 mil faster than I did on my 1st one. 1st time, I basically had the rest of the game complete before I'd saved enough.

Also, no one mentioned, those milage points...There are always a couple cars available to grab for about 6000 points. I got a lancer there early on and was able to use it in a lot of races. Very nice car! The new pace cars can only be found there as well, so check every few days

I've restarted the game 34 times. Each time doing things differently. I've restarted several times not buying anything. Completed all Circuit Experience and Mission Challenges.

Circuit Experiences alone with see your Cr. build up to around 5milliion. Once you reach Level 20, GR.1 races become available. From there, if you choose, you can use one of the GR.1 cars you have been gifted by Daily Workout gift, Circuit Experience or by any of the Mission Challenges. From the last three events in Gr.1 GT League Professional, you can earn 330,000 credits per race in under 10 minutes.

When you re-start the game and create a new profile do you have to pay for on-line racing again?

I’ve nearly completed the game and have been wondering what to do next.

No. I have an alt-account(in the same region) and my daughter's account, they both use the same PS+.

I keep the same profile when I restart. It saves your driver rating, liveries&driver suits/helmet designs(can not edit them though) and photos(accessed from your driver profile), decals are saved in your User function in Livery Editor.

The caveat is, all your Mileage Exchange purchases are deleted. You will start off with zero achievements. If you have not completed a car livery you like and want to use it on an alt profile, might be prudent to do that before restarting.

Not being an intensive player, just a handful of races every week, some in Sport Mode others in Campaign Mode.

Didn't bought a single car until being close or reached the 20 million limit. Other than that, playing Campaign Mode and Sport Mode with prize cars and daily workout gifts.

Of course still don't have a 20 million Nostalgic car and suffered a lot in gr. 3 because still don't have a Gr. 3 Beetle and for a lot of time it was the meta car in the class.
