Hiya! I'm Kubalivre, from Portugal!
I'm new 'round these parts. I've known the site for a while. It's my number one source to get updated with GT5. Tonight, I've decided to sign up for the forums.đź‘Ť
I've been playing since 2, I think. I faintly recall a PS1 demo. I hated it. Poor me, 7 years old, tackling GT! 3 was a great experience. I never owned it, and I played at a friend's house. It was a very social experience, two friends competing... Didn't get very far.
I own 4. It's not at 100%, but I might try to fix that until November... Especially because GT5P really boosted my confidence. I borrowed it off a friend and passed it through and through without a bronze in sight, and a few silvers. I'm obviously getting better as I grow older, but is any vet willing to compare the difficulty of 4 and 5P?
I'm a big admirer of cars, and I've been drawn to them from very little. Unfortunately, I'm not old enough to get a license, my driving experience is nearly nil, and the little I know about cars came from GT or researching for GT.
In a few weeks I expect to get a wheel. My experience is limited to a few rounds in Sega Rally arcades (what a game!), so I'll have to get accustomed. I'm still weighing my options, though I might end up buying a new Driving Force GT - The second hand market seems dry or high-priced.
I'm a casual gamer, mostly on the PlayStation. My taste, while not narrow in terms of genre, often directs me to the tried and acclaimed franchises. In addition to that, my gaming budget is rather low, and I don't have a great amount of games. I'm loyal to GTA, GT, Midnight Club, Price of Persia (though I haven't played the last two)... For the PS3, I own GTA IV and its episodes and Uncharted 1.
That's a wrap for now; it's already long as it is. Ask away if you wanna know anything. delighted to hear from anyone that replies.
