It was made by a Brazilian student from Bournemouth University. The video quality is not the best, but the whole video is in english. It's a must watch for all you that don't know much about the series. Even has comments from Gary Anderson (Designed F1 Chassis, and now works for Action Power Team). Enjoy!

Zonta makes his first test with a Stock Car at Londrina Racetrack
News from Warm Up - 12/04/2007 - 16:41

Ricardo Zonta completed on this wednesday (11) his first drive onboard a Stock Car. The practice for rookies only, happened yesterday at the Autódromo Ayrton Senna, Londrina, Paraná. Each driver managed to run 30 laps.

The ING Renault F1 Team test-driver makes his debut at the Nextel Cup Stock Car on April 22nd, at Interlagos, racing for BioRedux L&M Racing, along side the other team driver, Pedro Gomes.

"I already got used to it a bit. Of course, it were just some laps, but i could detect some of the car's reaction, that is heavier and has a lot of tricks to drive it. It's very different from a open-wheeler, that's why it's going to take some time to adapt myself" said the driver, that got lots of praise from the Team boss, Pablo Lopes.

"It was a short practice, but very positive. Ricardo exceeded our expectations for someone that was driving a Stock Car for the first time. He had no reference at all, but still gave a lot of information to the team" said Pablo Lopes, that worked with Zonta on the F-Chevrolet, in 1993.

"It was like going back in time. He continues to drive the same way, with the same style, but now with a lot more experience. The diference is that before we gave tips to him. Now, he gives the tips to us" said Pablo Lopes.

Next week, on 17th and 18th, the BioRedux L&M Racing participates of the group practices, at Interlagos with both drivers Ricardo Zonta e Pedro Gomes. This group practice will be the first time on this year, that all teams and drivers will be together on the same track. On the weekend, the first round of the 2007 season will take place.
