Some news before the action, starting this friday.

- Powertech Racing and Tatu Motorsport were punished by the CTDN (Conselho Técnico Desportivo Nacional - Technical and Sport National Council), for doing testing without permission. Powertech Racing said they were testing another V8 engine, from a american prototype and said the CTDN could check the car. They are still waiting for the CTDN comments on it, and plan to participate of this race weekend. Their motorhome is on the racetrack already.Tatu Motorsport on the other hand didn't even traveled to Londrina.

- The Teams using the Peugeot 307 Sedan bodykit will try a new rear wing, tested a couple weeks ago. The teams are very happy with this new wing, and said that now they can race against the other cars in equality. Managed to find a small pic explaining the changes:

- M4T Motorsport hired Mateus Greipel that was driving in Sama-GomeSports. With him and Paulo Salustiano in the other car, they plan to get both drivers on the TOP 10.

- Alan Hellmeister signed with Katalogo Racing. After signing a 5 race contract, the team was happy with his performance and sponsorship money, so they signed him for the whole season, before his 5 race contract ended.

- David Muffato was confirmed to drive his car on the Round 5 - Londrina. The RC3-Bassani Racing driver, that suffered a major crash at Round 4 - Interlagos, is fully recovered.

- With Antônio Pizzonia joining the season, he'll be the 7th driver on the series with F1 drives. He joins Ingo Hoffmann (AMG Motorsports), Chico Serra (Full Time Motorsports), Luciano Burti (Cimed-Action Power), Tarso Marques (Terra-Avallone Racing), Enrique Bernoldi (Biossintética-Action Power) e Ricardo Zonta (L&M Racing). Christian Fittipaldi and Raul Boesel no longer drive on the series.

- Ricardo Zonta didn't race at Londrina for 12 years. His last drive there was in 1995, on the South American F3 Championship. The memories are good. He managed to do a "Hat Trick" on that race, getting the Pole Position, the Fastest Lap and winning the race.

- Thiago Medeiros presented the new layout of his car.

It's incredible that nobody replies... Anyway, here i am posting news for ghosts.

- Julio Campos joins Sama-GomeSports Racing.

- David Muffato crashed again. Car is fully damaged but the driver is fine. Felipe Game also crashed his car on the same spot. Again, no one was hurt. Red Flag for the 2nd Practice.

First Practice Results

* Daniel Landi - Peugeot - Crashed on the qualify and won't race tomorrow
* Also, Renato Jader David and Gualter Salles crashed after making their best times. They haven't confirmed the participation in the race tomorrow. If they can't Guto Negrão will take the last spot (38th)

Round 5 - Londrina - Starting Grid + Eliminated on the qualify

Starting Grid with pictures, released by the Stock Car website (it seems Guto Negrão will take that 38th spot)

In Brazil, Globo TV and SporTV (Cable/Sattelite) broadcast the races.

I think TV Globo Internacional (TVGI) also broadcast the races in USA and Europe.

In USA,TVGI it's avaible through:

Sattelite - Dishnetwork and DIRECTV

Cable - Comcast Boston (CT, MA, ME, NH e NY), Atlantic Broadband (Miami Beach e South Miami), RCN (Boston), Comcast Miami (Miami-Dade e Broward)

More info about Globo Internacional here: http://tvglobointernacional.globo.com/ (in portuguese)

It helped a lot. The "Pugs" were almost 1 second slower on straight lines than the others. Now this seems to be fixed.

And finally one of the drivers managed to finished on the podium. Valdeno Brito, finished 2nd, giving Peugeot it's first podium.

Curiously, it was Valdeno Brito that also gave Mitsubishi it's first podium, also a 2nd place, back in 2003 (or 2004, can't remember the exact year).

Do you know what the official website is Johnny? Been reading about it for years but never had the chance to do some hardcore research on it.
Every time I do a search I get poor results.
