Nostalgia people, let's go back in time. Who here owns, or did own NFS3 HP??

Not a bad game for it's time, I used to just sit around and go through the championship and knockout modes, good fun:tup:

No, he probably means Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit, which would count as a nostalgia game being released back in 1998. Hot Pursuit II was released only 4 years ago.
Edit: Beat by Famine. Oh well.
Anyways, Hot Pursuit has the great distinction of being the first time EA introduced an old feature as new in the series, but this was long before it got annoying (which, sadly, hasn't happened yet.) The game itself suffers from being overshadowed by High Stakes and the later reinvention of the franchise as an arcade only series, but it is still pretty good.

Ive got it. Good fun, considering I only have a PSone and a virus-filled PC.

Those silly cops... tryna catch me ridin' dirty.

I have to say that, despite graphical issues, NFS3:HP is one of my favourite games. But not in normal play...

With the "horn cheat" enabled it is an absolute riot - one of the few examples of an obvious cheat for making the game easier actually making the game infinitely more enjoyable.

Sorry for the bump, but I have been having so much fun with this game ever since I upped the resolution to the maximum setting! I have a ton of download cars like a Volvo 850 T5 R, A 47 Cadillac Rat Rod and Schumachers Ferrari ! :D

Its really fun and I remember this game from when I was like 7! :)

I had that game for PC and I really liked it, photorealistic interiors! Full Night Time racing! It was brilliant, I remember I had a Gold CLK GTR and it was my favourite one to use...

When NFSHP2 came out I was glad that it retained that games greatness... Hopefully a NFSHP3 will come out in the future...

I've been playing the PS version, and it has made me realise how NFS 3 is, in fact, still the best in the series. Everything about it seems to be a labor of love, and it is so polished. Also, it seems to run at 60FPS. 60FPS!

I had that game for PSone, used to play it alot with my dad. My favorite car was the Lamborghini Diablo, I was like 3 or 4 when I played it. I somehow lost it but I bought it for PC about a year ago. I also own NFS: HP2 and NFS: Porsche Unleashed! XDDD

I've been looking out for this game for a while now but in the mean time I've picked up NFS1 and NFS Porsche, along with Porsche and High stakes, 3 is my favorite in the entire series and easily better than all this underground crap.

El Nino for teh win!!

You guys should try the original Need For Speed, I own the special edition version for pc which gave 2 more tracks, its so much fun, the sounds are spot on and it has lots of interesting point to point races! Like you could go up a mountain in stages and it would get snowyer as you got to the top and then there was the coastal road track which had the half buried statue of liberty in the sand on the beach at the end of the track from planet of the apes

Oh the memories, I still play it now and then!

It was the first playstaion game I ever bought and I played it so much, it was a fantastic game, loved it, I loved the shortcuts, I loved the cars, and I loved the tracks. I liked all the old NFS games, until NFS underground, it has not been the same since but it has been more commercial no doubt, shame though, the exotic cars on exotic tracks were awesome.
