Anytime... tell pinoy to start using shortcuts too... I was in all honesty surprised I left you two way behind after that first shortcut in Rule of Law. Were you two slamming into walls and traffic like a fruit in a blender?

No, Pinoy was sort of distracting me, so I didn't look to the side of my car, nor look at the map.

Just bought this game today and really can't wait to get into it. The last NFS game that was anything similar to this was Hot Pursuit 2 but that game is almost a decade old. So after several years, it's nice to have a NFS game that's true to the series' roots.

I have the PS3 version and if anyone wants to add me for Autolog please feel free to do so. My PSN is on the left.

And just wanted to say, I'm a little irked that I have to buy the Lamborghini Countach and Diablo SV with real money in order to drive them since I remember these two cars fondly from NFS III. Oh well, at least they're there.

I'm sure, after competing with you recently. That you can see drastic improvement in mine and Super's abilities since the session a while ago.

I'm much more active on the game right now, I recently bought the Porsche 959 and found I can usually beat the people who use the SL65 on the Super class.

That's great! But the Speedster far better outperforms the 959... it hits an insane top speed, higher than the SL65.

Cars with the slow acceleration have stronger boost than those with good acceleration. Good acceleration is nice, but having powerful boost is more vital because you're never driving at low speeds for most of the race. In other words, you should be driving at a relatively high speed throughout the entire race, so how fast your car can accelerates matters not at this point. What matters more is that you have boost that can take you back to top speed after corners. 👍

As fun as this game is, it is also the most infuriating game I own. Good thing I also have Killzone 3 where I can go and shoot some heads off after some good old one too many hot pursuit unlucky 🤬 wobbles resulting in frontal collisions.

lol Tell me about it. I 🤬 hate rapid response missions, especially if the route involves taking the highways. So hard to control a McLaren F1 cop car going 200+ mph without hitting anything.

But otherwise, this game is simply a BLAST, especially when you play online. Love doing online hot pursuits. And I recently bought the Lamborghini and Porsche DLC. It was money well spent, and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't have it yet. The Lamborghini Diablo SV, Countach, Porsche 959, and 911 Turbo may be a bit old but they have no problem competing against the more modern cars in the game. 👍

lol I'll add you anyway. The current people in my friends list who have the game haven't played it in over a month, so I need some active people. Whether they're insanely skilled or not.

Like I understand the physics, the timing of when I should boost, I calculate how much boost I'll gain when I run through a segment of a route so that I'll have a full gauge ready when I reach the next straightaway...I think deeply about this game beyond any other racing game I've ever played in my life... now if only I could do the same with DiRT...

I was just kidding you know. After all, how would I know about your times unless I added you. No, I wouldn't be fooling myself because I don't think like that in the first place. Most of the fun for me is simply playing the game, not in feeling that I'm better than others. I'm not competitive that way, it's not where most of the fun lies for me.

+1, but I can't finish any rapid response better than on bronze medal (exception: Protect and Swerve, silver medal)...
