I still think NFSHP2 had the best intro!
Yes easily the best intro and still THE best game of the entire series. 👍

in case anyone doesn't know, Black Box is already working on a Underground 3, so expect a Shift 2 an Underground 3 in the next year or so.
According to that list, there are 66 cars in HP, and if you're counting paradise cars only and no purchase-only DLCs, then 75 cars + 4 bikes.
I beleive you're wrong about the ALL HP cars have a police counterpart... the Convertibles certainly don't come in cop form, nor do every single variation of the gallardo
Despite being large, there are very few intersections so it'll for the most part feel like a single road forever.
I'm pretty positive that there will just be 1 Gallardo cop car, not 4.
Carbon was essentially Underground 3. It had all the same elements and just added Cops. Undercover was like MW2. Maybe Criterion will make a High Stakes 2 after they're done with Burnout 6. (I believe it's going to be called Burnout Paradise 2, but I'm not sure)
It shouldn't matter anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if the cops in this game are going to have a bit of a speed advantage compared to their street variant.I don't know. I can see 4 different Gallardo cop cars with 4 different liveries. It wouldn't really be fair if a racer got a Gallardo SL and the cop was only in the regular Gallardo
Car list. Go back 3 pages; Balboni, 560-4, Spyder, Superleggera....and who said there were going to be 4 Gallardos?
I don't know. Carbon was supposed to be a sequel to Most Wanted, story wise. Carbon just didn't feel anywhere close to the Underground series. It was like Most Wanted, just at night. The Underground series to me, is the extensive upgrades to the cars, ordinary street cars, and free roam of course. It was never really about chases, pursuit breakers, or even exotics.
Ever since Underground 2, customization went down the drain, so I don't think any games after it are its successor in any way.
Why wouldn't the convertibles have a police form? and you make it sound like there's going to be 60 Gallardos and 6 other cars or something. The Reventon is the only one that won't have a Cop counter part, like the F1 car in BOP.
Criterion has already mentioned that all cars besides the Reventon, will have a police counterpart.
That's what he's saying. The Reventon is a cop-only car in the game. There will be "civilian" version of it.The Reventon has been spotted as a police car already.
But the point was that it seems that HP will actually be Burnout Paradise with license cars, a newer physics engine and some more HP elements.
The list was leaked by BADNED. That name alone should tell you there's a good chance of it being pretty accurate.Looking at that leaked list and I don't know if it's entirely accurate. EVERY model that has a spyder version has it's spyder version in the game. Why? I can see that for Test Drive Unlimited 2, but it's rather pointless in a arcade pursuit game. Seriously. Criterion mentioned that there were a couple cars they weren't revealing as a surprise and that there were a couple cars that you wouldn't see in any other game which suggests they've got some more exclusive licenses. But...I don't know. There seems to be a LOT of repetition for a franchise that hardly ever has the same car twice with just a different trim. However, it maybe that the Spyders are the Racer versions and the hardtops are the Pursuit versions. But I guess we'll find out in a little over a month.
