Hey guys,

I'm planning on buying MW but I don't know if it's worth buying, is it that good? Are there more tuning options then in the Underground series...

So, can you guys tell me your opinions on the game and post some shots of your car(s) please?

Don't post if you don't have the game :D You would be going off-topic 👍

Pink,

Depends on what kind of game you're looking for. If you liked NFS:Underground, you'll probably like this.. it's basically "Underground with cops". If you're looking for a real NFS game, the likes of which we haven't seen since HP2, then no, it's not worth it.

I haven't gone digging through the tuning options, since I prefer my cars stock. The visual modding is different this time, too, without all the worthless neon and crap that Underground had. But I also don't pay any attention to that end of it, either.

It's good if you like street racing with cops, and also if you like supercars and tuning. Or if you don't care about the tuning, it's still good. You can keep your cars stock, too, which is nice, unlike Underground. If you prefer the classic NFS, then it might not be worth it. I like both HP2 and MW, because they are a bit different.

One thing that's always puzzled me in the classic NFS games, though: the roads are closed circuits, where's the traffic coming from, and where are they going? :P

No, most wanted is day time racing, with cops and with destructable scenery. Much better than the Underground games.

I think it is worth buying, however I wouldn't bother with Black Edition unless it is the same price, as I have both, and the only difference is that you can drive a Camaro and another car in arcade mode (or whatever it is called, I forget).

It is daytime, but they have used the same graphics as the Underground series, so it isn't quite as good to look at (not that the underground series was much to look at anyway).

It has better cars than Underground (Lamborgini, Porshe, etc.)

It has SOME supercars.. Two Lambos, the Porsche Carrera GT, and the McMerc SLR. I think those are the only ones I'd classify as "supercars".

What about the Ford GT? 0-60 is faster than an Enzo, I'd say that qualifies as "supercar". Plus there's the Porche Cayman and 911, as well as a DB9.

The GT's 0-60 time is slightly slower than an Enzo's. That, and there's more to a "supercar" than 0-60. I don't really consider it a "supercar" in the same zone as the European ones for some reason, although I couldn't be specific as to why. The Aston and the other Porsches are just high-end sports cars, not supercars.

Besides, this game isn't about supercars.. that's what Test Drive Unlimited is for, not NFS. NFS used to be about the supercars.. now it's all about ricers and street racing. Both of which rank very high on my stupidity meter.

True. The Ford GT costs $150,000. Its top speed is 205mph, goes 0-60 in 3.6s (okay, it is a little under the Enzo), the 1/4 mile in 12, has 550HP, and is produced in relatively limited numbers. I'm sorry, I just don't see how all this would fail to classify it as "supercar".

Personally, I'd say because it doesn't look like one. To me, the word "supercar" isn't about performance alone. It's about the combination of looks, price, exclusivity, and performance, all together. If a car is missing any one of those, then it's just a sports car.

If you put a Ford GT next to a Lamborghini Murcielago, and asked a guy on the street which one would win in a race, he'd point to the Lambo without thinking. Even though the GT would probably win in reality. It's more about perception than numbers.

To me it looks just as much like a supercar than any other. It has the race car looks (hell, it's a replica of one) of your typical supercar. To me it is most like the Diablo; slightly angular, but still rounded with some rather nice curves. It sits low and wide, and the engine growls like it wants to rip your face off. That's the essense of supercar in my book.

To each his own, I guess...:sly:

Heck just buy the game for the Viper. lol Now that is classed as supercar

I feel that it is NFS Underground for a more GT crowd. It has much faster cars, Porsches, a great police chase element, and the modifying system has been tidied up a bit. I found it to be a great play, and would advise you guys to seriously check it out.

If you own HP2 and Underground 2, play them both in quick succession. There, you have Most Wanted, just missing a few noticably large features.
Personally, MW is probably going to be the last NFS game I buy if EA doesn't stop taking features out so they can reintroduce them as a new feature. It really pisses me off that this is the 4th time they have billed police pursuits as a new feature. And you can't even be the cop, which will no doubt be a new feature in the next game (this time being the third time).

I think its worth it. I like it better than Underground cuz of the cops and its better racing to me, but HP2 will always be my favorite with this bein second.

It's worth it, but I don't like its daytime racing as well as the lack of neon, spinners, doors and stuff...

Beware though: the whole bounty thing and blacklist thing gets repetitious (sp?) after a while.

And whatever you do DONT get it for psp... crappy cops, less cars, crap graphics, no storyline, no cutscenes, and worst of all no free roam.

PSP NFSMW IS CRAAAP!!!!

It is better than UG2, and arguable better than Underground. It is a pretty fun game that should last a week or two. You might want to wait for the price to drop to $20 though.

And definitely don't get NFS: MW for PSP.
