I've played it and here are my specs because it was really crap on my system.

P4 3.0Hhz
1 gig DDR 400 Ram
Radeon 9700

Anyway the steet circuit worked fine nice amount of frames on pretty much bottom settings, but the speed challenge was crap. Like 5-10 frames a second.

From what I can tell so far there is only the 2 different races, speed challenge and the street one with no choice of cars. You get a tuned M3 V8 in the speed challenge and the Nissan GTR in the street one.

And I can't find where to turn stability and traction control off. Plus it is so easy to beat the competition even on the hardest setting. The real game better have the option of harder openents and the abilility to turn of driving aids.

Overall I don't like it. Most probably because my PC is not up to scratch but since when was need for speed ever about closed circuit racing. I would have prefered them to make a game like NFS 1,2,3,4,5 or 6. Nice country roads and exotic locations with traffic and police. Hell even Most wanted wasn't that bad. The other 3(Undergorund, Underground 2 and Carbon) where crap though.

Overall out of 10 i'll give it a 5.

im buying the alienware area 51 m9750 laptop.

ATI doesn't make those cards, Nvidia does. Specs don't look too bad though except the cost of it. Too damn much IMO.

downloaded the demo today and played it for an hour. liked the graphics (i play on HIGH -HIGH-HIGH)
one question though, how do i turn off the ABS and SM assistants? its pretty annoying on the grip race.

Other then that i like the game in over all. Too bad they didnt let us play a drift race but ok.
