Back at the beginning of 2010, EA announced three NFS games being launched in rapid succession: NFS World, an unnamed Criterion games NFS title and a Black Box Studios NFS title that was due in early 2011. Now, we know the names and release dates of all of them.
NFS World is now out.
Criterion Game's is releasing NFS Hot Pursuit on November 16th
and now, Need For Speed Shift 2 has just been announced to be released by March 2011.
Shift got pretty mixed reviews. The demo felt a lot like GRID, to me. So, I don't know what they're gonna do with Shift 2. I guess we'll find out at GC in a couple weeks and TGS in September.
