All on the first page of this thread magical- it's quite difficult to keep up with these guys unless you've got a good tune. I can't for the life of me find a way to keep the GT2 from spinning out of turns with full throttle. It's a gamble but it's worth it, racing with clean guys is a joy.

Race 3 says "Reverse Grid Car" what does that mean ?

Could I join? -my PSN is magicaldog
I'm not quite sure about the race details -tracks , cars, laps !
Next race is on Saturday! -right ?
On page 1 in post 3 there is a countdown clock to be sure about the date of the next race

I've tried to expain it, please read 3rd post on page 1 mate.
If there is anything else what is not clear please let us know!

Are you still just for the GT2 Cup?

For the new guys: this week is the 4th, (the tables are not updated yet) so that means we race :

GT2 in Brands Hatch GP
Touring cars in Brands Hatch Indy
League races: BMW M3 GT2 (reward) at Roead America and Nissan GT-R35 Spec-V(stock) at Glendale West

I will do touring races as well but i won't bother with league races

As you think, but the league races are just the same like the other races, the only difference is that you don't have to find setups because we use stock cars (that makes much less difference between the drivers) ... but you know :dopey:

Can the touring cars be upgraded? I don't really have much time for the next couple of weeks. I will probably end up doing the league:)

Never mind I saw your post

I think I got it now about the "Reverse Grid Car" but who keeps track of what place all the driver comes in and what cars they drive ?

We always have a PSN chatroom during the races.
After the first round I or somebody else who make a sreenshot of the result of round1 will tell the others wich car he has to drive in the 2nd round.

Clean Racing??? that would really make Shift a great game if not the best. its a pitty the AI is so agressive and the online racing is even worst.

can I join if so what do I need to do... I usualy don't race on the net often due to the usually agressive nature of the races so I havent got much experience in that area.

I did it 2 or 3 times with GT5 prologue and Shift and thought that online has a great potencial but is not being properly used

my PSN is tribolik

I would like to race with you guys, so let me know what to do

cheers

Hi welcome to the league.
Just read the rules on post 1 & add us to your PSN.
There Is a text room opened for us to communicate before/during races.
There Is normally someone on In the week to practice with.
Just chill and enjoy the racing.

Guys there is a big festival in the village I live in so I'm not sure if I can race. It's lasting the whole weekend so it's unpredictable if I'm racing or not

I'll try to add you guys tonight after I get home from work (I'm not sure how to do that but I will probably figure it out)

the nicks I have to add are the ones you are using in this forum or the ones in the first post score tables?

It's quite difficult to keep up with these guys, if you make a lot of mistakes. Tuning is not all.

Tuning leads to mistakes in my case. That or the online is just different from single racing against the computer, or the clock. I cant figure out a good way of controlling the GT2 out of corners. Unless i half throttle it, but then the others drive away. I'll have to get it down, Brands Hatch is a fairly easy track.

I didn't see any difference between single and online racing, I think the only difference is that in online mode you have to take care for the others, maybe you're under pressure and that makes your laptimes a bit slower. In my way, I do the same laptimes in both modes..
About your GT2 problem: try to change the setup of the differentials. It changes a lot in the handling of the car. you can make the car much smoother to drive, of course it will couse that the car will not be as fast as before. just like in real. And try to change the throttle reaction time in the wheel/pad setup. If you set it to 50%, the reaction will be linear, that makes your car smoother. If this is not enough, try to change it to 25%, maybe it helps. (with a wheel I use 80% on gas and break both, because it easier to controll than with a pad) Or look on this thread, maybe it helps too: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=120467

Thanks

I will try to add more today

few things about me

I have the exotic dlc :)

don't know the first thing about tunning in Shift :indiff: is there any online guides I can use? I tried to tune a few times but without the results I hoped for

I have the Logitech DFGT - I just read the «logitech g27 wheel settings» and I'm going to try a few tonight to see if it improves my shift experience - I´m sorry I didn't find this forum sooner

I would really like to make my own livery but the program is not all that user friendly when it comes to livery designs

- You can find all of our PSN names on post2
- I don't know if there is any tuning guide, maybe this thread will help in some cars:https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=120505&page=49#post3555209
- It is not so hard to make good paintjobs, it only takes a lot of time.. lol

Tribolik, Magicaldog, Lukeconelly: would you please tell us what car you decided to use in the Touring car race for 1st round? Actually I ask it because recently nobody use the Nissan 200SX and if some of you choose it, I need to upgrade and setup one for myself for the second round (there is not enough room for my cars, so I sold it last week...) Thank you guys!

Sorry, I've corrected your name mate!

Yes, you have to get the other touring cars for the 2nd round because the rewerse rule for round2. So you'll need the following cars to be upgraded to works and to tune them if you want: Toyota corolla AE86, Ford Escort, Seat Leon, VW Scirocco, Nissan 2000-GTR, Nissan 200SX

I will add also, That the car you use In round 1 Is the car you should use on every round 1.

The GT2 Is a 14.00 point car.(just as a reminder) Not fully tuned.

ok its a pitty there's little garage space but they give you the same money you paid for the cars so it doesn't matter much if I have to sell a few rides. I can always buy them back

hmmm. so I have to downgrade or sell a few parts of mine until it reaches 14.00? I choose witch parts to sell?
