If your going to overtake your best bet is to out-brake the person on the inside. I wouldn't recommend cutting from outside to inside because it will just spin the other driver

I give you the benefit of the doubt mate lag Is always an issue here Seth to a certain leval.

The other week I was chasing Lefty (he's across the water) & was a car & 1/2 length away he braked I braked but closed the gap a little & seen him move forward slightly I asked If I had clipped him (Over the mic) which I had. So It just goes to show being 20feet away from someone could actually be 20 inches.
But normally me & Lefty can run bumper to bumper as for Shark and Mo I'm normally 30 seconds behind lol but have had close action with them In the turns.

I know I seem to be getting on at you Seth & I'm sorry, I don't really mean too I know how your feeling I was once a new member.
Iknow your fast round a track & have some great car control, But most of the incidents take me out as If I aint slow enough lol.
Perhaps It's me. I know I'm not as quick or smooth as I used to be, As my videos show.
Perhaps I've just played Shift for to long and need to find a new challenge.

Wonder If the different Nat types 2 & 3 affect our lag problem at all?

Add- I know you think I got into you. But on my screen your were on the far side of the track. There is enough room for me to take the inside (on the last turn at Road America) and not get into you. There should be no way that I smacked into you. On my side I was already past you and got hit in the rear by you. It wasn't me driving into you....

hummm, I dont think I have lag problems but I think this may explaine what has been happening to me (bumping into to me and throughing me off the road)

if there was damage online or the car with big crashes stoped working like in grid maybe that would solve half the «crashes and acidents» in shifts online racing...

Yeah, this is the last season of the league and then we can all play f1. We get about 1 season of that then gt5. Hooray

Don't expect anything to happen to quickly for the leagues to start racing in an organized manor, at least for the GT5 game. I have already had a discussion with the powers to be at the Prolog forum and they think there will be retesting for the Registry before organized events can take place, plus they have already stated that there is not enough known about how the game is set up to even be able to state how the racing program will be run.

I'm not trynna be a downer on anyone or say that we need to give up shift. I like the game (somewhat) and I like playing against you guys. Weve got a good thing going here and in the endurance thread as well (even if Mo's R8 blew us away).

I would still probably to the endurance races for an extra month or so. The one problem is that there is way to much people trying to get into the f1 2010 league, I think we should set up a league between us. This is off-topic at the moment but keep it in mind.

The other kid is driving a 125, Little is pushing a 80 so it’s easy to see the difference.

“The Big Race” is on the 29th at Blue Max, then the next one is Oct. 24th

Got that right, we will take a break after the 29th and re-gear for the 24th race in Oct., I’m so excited to see him race and you are all invited to ride along because we are going to have the “IN KART CAM” mounted and the whole race will be Video-Graphed.

I just know I'll be online like usual. If not I got a couple of other guys who are in a clean drivers club from the need for speed forums. He's got a little set up over there that's pretty good. He calls it GT300. Something to do with cars that are tier 1 and have a certain power to weight ratio. I use a 350Z with a power to weight ratio of 3.4kg/HP

I'm sorry about the London Royal race guys. I tried to use the car the best I could, but there was problems with the internet today. It wasn't purposeful that I got into you guys. I seriously was just driving almost blindly. I noticed the 'ping' times above your cars and they were to the order of a half a second. Normally they are .2 seconds or less. I think this is why I was all over the place. Mo, when I got into you on the straight, I didn't hit you purposefully. I came around the corner and it was blind. I tried to brake but i couldn't avoid you in time. I tried to give you back the position as i was behind you so i just pushed you a little bit, I didn't think it would spin you any. I got bumped into a lot but the track isn't the most forgiving place. Please understand guys. There was a problem with my internet today. I should have waited to come back and race again with you guys, I figured the connection was better after I got d/c. Sorry though. I really hope we can get past this. I dont mind if you dock my points or whatever. I didn't mean to bump. The internet works better now, obviously since i'm here, just gimme another chance. Tomorrow I'll hopefully be able to stay with you guys and race clean.

For first of all, I think everybody know I was so patience about your style Fresh. It was about 1 or 2 month ago when I was so angry after our conflicts, but I said: hey, everybody can have an other chanse, maybe his connection will be better or he can work on his style, etc.
After last night, I have to ask you mate, how much more chanse do you need?
You made my race, Shark's and Octane's race to a nightmare when you were close to us. And this is the point. Can you explain me how it can be we can race side-by-side clean without big colissions, care on the other driver when he is near to us, or just not tryin' to pass someone i there is no opportunity to pass him clean?
We have dc's too, have the same connection problems, but it doesn't count too much because we not just push the gas, we use the break too and count that if there are 2 cars in a turn we use our raceline and try not to push the maximum to get out 1st from it.
If I can say something, (maybe i'm wrong), you're style's looks like the only thing is important for u is to pass everybody. whatever it costs...

There is really not anger in me, but in my view it is not fun to race with conditions like this, I hope you understand me. It's like when 2 drivers in the F1 can't race in one team.. if they can't, they change team because they're getting fustrated of the other and can't enyoj raceing.
This is the point where actually I feel myself.

I don't want to make problems here in this comunity, so here is my deal:
I leave this League so you can race with the others here, but in the endurance runs you don't join us. I think this is fair and good for both of us

Sorry mate, but untill the situation doesn't change, this is not fun for me any more.

Fresh I didn't want to make any problem, you can continue your racing here, I quitted because I didn't want to have more conflicts, and I felt if only I have problems (with u, or with your connection, it doesn't count) the optimal thing is if I quit.
I did it, so don't show this story like I would said: "you're out!" or somerthing like that.

The hall thing was only My opinion, I'm not the organizer to tell anybody what should he do.
