If anyone wants the finishing orders for the five races I have them recorded until next week where as I will step on them.

I suck so bad with that darn scirocco. I think i messed the tuning all up! The last race was fun but akmuq stopped in the middle of the road! I end up crashing into his rear and ruined my 3rd place. What was up with that akmuq?

Well, there's no reason in stopping right before the finish line when you're a lap behind, just weird. I donno if he just figured he would watch everyone go by but sitting your car on the racing line isn't the brightest thing to do. It's whatever, it's just a game. Hopefully this weekend my performances will be better. back to stock tuning for the scirocco.

Which race was that? I didn't see anything going like that. I'll play the race back and try to see what your talking about.

Seth I'm sorry. I crashed a few laps ago and was out of contention.I started watching tv.I went round the final corner and rolled to the line and I tought I would cross it but I didn't. I don't want to ruin anyones race so I will take a point penalty if it's given to me. Sorry.

As you maybe know, for a lot of reasons I really get enough of Shift for now, so I'm going to join a much realistic game's league (finally get a powerfull PC and now can enjoy my favourite game untill GT5 comes out). I hope it's starts in a different time than to our races, but if it doesn't, I won't be able to join this week' races guys. So if I won't show up in time, don't wait for me, I wish you a great race-weekend for a Final for this Season!
Hope the former members will show up and there will be some full grid races.

Of coures, if I can, I'll join! this Ring weekend sounds very suitable for me :)

Oh well I’m sure that GT5 will have enough gravitational force to bring all of the great Shifters back together for many great races that will once again bring the best drivers in the forum together. I expect that Manny, Mo, and Arv will be battling for the front. I also expect to make my presents known as well as Add and Shark least we forget about The Hog if he surfaces. In the 6 mo’s that I have been here I have elevated my game to levels that remind me of days of glory and allowed me to show Little that his dad still has some gas left in the tank.

I will always remember what I think is my greatest defense of my test track, Dakota Nat. against Mo and the greatest back and forth battle on Casino Rivera, a track that has all of my strong points, what I call right hand left hand up hill down hill, between Mo and I in the last race Saturday. So if you can’t make it Sat. Mo then I know we’ll all be yukin it up in the GT5 forum. So good luck w/ your new adventure and please let us know more about the great program you found.

It's not a big deal Ak. I wasn't mad at you. I didn't see you till it was too late anyway. I was in 3rd but ran into your rear at the finish line on the last lap. Not like it mattered much, I didn't practice at all for last weeks tracks, except the GT2! Oh well. I know this week, I will be online at night for a few trials against you guys if anyone shows up. I donno if I'll be getting F1. Seeing as how GT5 is so close. The F1 game looks decent but the lack of safety cars and the graphics just don't seem so great. It looks decent like I said, but the gameplay from it just looks pretty mundane. Korea's track was way off as well. Some of the turns are much too 'tight' and abrupt. When in reality from Chandhok's video they are 'sweepers'. Then the last left to right before the straight away the elevation change isn't as profound either, as with the curbing. From the tracks I've seen on their games they are pretty close, but they aren't very accurate. I might pick it up, but that's only if I can convince the GF I need 2 NEW racing games on top of the NFS Shift I already own.

Well I'm happy that you ain't mad and I will make sure it won't happen again. I'm looking forward to racing against all of you in gt5 and I'm also getting f1 2010. The gt5 leagues will be just plain epic. It's like the merge of the scc, shift, f1, forza and gtpsp leagues in to 1 super league. Wake me up when October ends.

GT is my essence, I've learned to play racing games from GT. So if I can get the tuning down right for that game expect me up front as well. I've played GT since I was in 7th 8th grade. I've had all GT games except PSP. I don't need PSP so there's no reason to get it, until a PSP Phone comes out that is!

I'll not dissapear Lefty, just want to try myself in games what are much closer to reality than Shift. I'm sure that won't be a problem to race against each other in GT5 in a few weeks and hopefully there will be a great company of fast and clean drivers, I just can't wait for some adrenaline till then and I'm a bit bored of Shift now.
The game what I'll play is the old Race07/GTR-Evo. I played with this game before I get my PS3, and I loved it, the only problem was my PC had not got enough GPU and CPU to run it, and couldn't connect it with my TV, but now these problems are gone.
There are a lot of leagues and championships in my country for this game, and some of them has big prizes (give opportunity for the fastest drivers to get in a real cup-series) I'm not optimistic, i'm really not enough to get up to the greatests there, but I'm curious if I can stay in lap comparing to them lol
It will be a good training for GT5 as it is a real simulator (I can learn a lot about optimal tuning in that game), and not at least it will show me where I need to get better to become more faster)

PS:I've really ejoyed our battles last week Lefty!👍 In Dakota I think I've burned my breaks behind you for the end of the race:sly: in the 3th-4th turns I always tried to get over you but I couldn't do it in a fair way, the situation was so close there almost in every lap, and we had only centimeters between our cars. it was a very fun run! and the Casino track with those **** blue things was a bit insane but this race showed me really how do we know each others' thinking and we can find out what will be the next movement of the other. I'm so excited how big battles we'll have in a normal game like gt5.
Still not sure if i can join saturday, but i can sure you if i can, I'll join.

I've been trying to master the Ring lately with different cars. I can only get 6:40 with the DBR9, I know there's more than 10 seconds to find. Also been trying out the GT2 class cars. The Audi R8LMS is a challenge especially for bumpy tracks, it likes to jump. It's very inaccurate compared to how the car drives in real life. Just from videos of the nurburgring endurance races (VLN, N24) you can tell the car handles bumps just fine. Stiff yes, but not like Shi(f)t's set-up.

Mo's gone the same way as the hog, Maybe he Is the hog lol.
As you all know It's the final week of the league so please enjoy It.
There will be no more seasons after this.

First there were the DLC cars, then there were the Exotics, and now with the death of the league right before Halloween I give you the After Life series.

I've got news 4 you guys: I'm not gone:) I've told you I can join if I can, and the other league's races will only start 2 weeks from now, till then I just practice with them and in a totally different time. So we'll meet on Saturday!

And Lefty, I don't think we'll only race with each other when Shift 2 comes out. If it is possible I want to know all of us in a Gt5 league too with more great drivers in our community! of course just if u think about it in the same way as i do...

I’m just going stir crazy ….. lol. I just can’t wait for GT5 to show up as well as F1. I can’t wait to sink my teeth in the Prolog bunch in head to head racing and the F1 enthusiast as well. It’s just my dark side trying to get out. I’m not worried about the people here showing up when Shift 2 comes out because I think the true enthusiast that are able to drive on the edge in this forum have already made their presents known here, and are able to understand how it is the thing that you always use in the real world to not only go fast when your trying not to get sideways but it is the thing that has to be mastered when the perfect lap style gets away from you. Yes I’m looking forward to seeing how the Shifters stack up against rest of the forum and would think that when Shift 2 comes out, it’s more then likely it will be old home week around here.

One answer. Mohamu king of all of gtplanet. What I want to see is how we compare to the prologue and scc racers in gt5 in terms of speed.

I thinking your ref to Mo is just a little fun poke so I won’t go there ….. lol as well I may be barging into your question for Mo but I’m thinking I have more experience w/ the GT5p side of GTP in our Shift group to answer your question.

I’m not sure if you have ever tip toed around the GT5p group and maybe attempted to join the Registry or maybe even tried the GT5 TTC demo from about 8 mo’s ago but what I can tell you is they are amazing in the way they can nail some unbelievable lap times. I finished in the top 800 in the No. American challenge in the GT5 TTC demo and ran out of time, but I think someone from GTP won the thing because he used the GTP_ in front of his handle. But my guts tell me that when we start mixing it up in heads up compo w/ 16 car fields and the static safety net disappears, the rough and tumble experience that we deal w/ every week will show it’s self.

Wish I could try. I have only had a ps3 since june so I can't play the tt demo but I've seen some of their laps. They are brilliant. They can put the car right on the limit of what's possible. I saw amazing laps on London from proloque and they were milimeters from the wall. It was the perfect lap.

Although the winner of the GT Academy wasn't a GTpeer (it was a french dude) it might well have been since many of the finalists were GTPeers and the national finals were crowded with them all around the world.👍
My advice is to keep the "winning" expectations low because there are plenty of alien fast guys 'round here in GT games-some of them have been playing events in a weekly basis since GT5P was released...so I just join the party for the fun involved and hoping not to be the only slow snail out there on the tracks after 4\11...:sly:

I wonder about devision 4 maybe...... anyways I never raced against you arvore but I heard that you are very fast. I'll look forward to racing against you sometime.:)

GT5 is different than GTP and the TT demo. It's on display at some Best Buys and even at some Targets. So I'm hoping to go to one of these stores and give it a try within a couple weeks. I'll see how it feels compared to the Shi(f)t weve been playing, lol. I'm willing to race a few more weeks up until GT5 comes out with you guys on Shift, if so you choose. Besides Mo's endurance league as well. I propose a GT2 class challenge (M3 GT2, Porsche GT3RSR, Audi R8LMS) and a GT1 class challenge (Maserati MC12, Aston Martin DBR9) with 15 lap battles at long sweeping courses like Silverstone, Spa, Road America, and Willow Springs GP, let the lead out as it were, maybe 5 laps on the Nurb. If anyone is up for the challenge we can do it on a Friday or Saturday (afternoon/night).
