Firstly, I do not hate Shift. I am just making a statement about my opinion about the vinyl editor.
I find the vinyl editor to be quite poor. There are two reasons for this.
The first reason is the camera. You can only look at the car at a specific angle; you cannot look at the whole car simply by moving your camera, instead, you have to change where you're placing your vinyls. For example, if I want to make sure a stripe lines up with another stripe, I have to scroll to where I put vinyls somewhere else. (Poorly worded, sorry. Though I hope it makes sense...)
The second reason is editing the vinyls themselves. You can only make them a certain size, meaning that you have to use several of the same vinyls. This is a big issue with "Manufactures" vinyls, because they are so small, they are seldom seen. Plus, you can't make them any bigger.
In conclusion, I'm hoping for EA to update the vinyl editor, because its so hard to use. It's impossible to make vinyls that are as good as the default ones. Perhaps I'm just spoiled with the vinyl editor in Midnight Club: LA. But still, why put a vinyl editor in if its unusable? What's your opinion on the vinyl editor?
