Just need a little help with tuning as i'm midway through the 3rd stage and thought it might be time to think about getting my Supra properly setup.

Mainly just need some suggestions for all settings (Circuit, X, Drift, drag etc). I'm having no problems winning the races, but if i can make the game more enjoyable by having a properly setup car i thought i should take the oportunity.

Thanks for any people 👍

Engine:
I found that the best way to tune your car for each event is to make sure your ECU and turbo max out around 5000-6000rpm. (depends on car) You will notice that your HP and Torque will increase by at least 30. Just look at the dyno results before and after to see this. This is a very impressive part of the game.
Suspension:
Drop your car as low as possible. Stiffen the shocks almost all the way up. Adjust your steering so it is faster too.
Tires:
If drifting decrease the grip on the rear tires. For all other events increase the tire grip all the way up for both front and back.
Downforce:
Make sure this is also increased all the way up and sway bars. If drifting, reduce the downforce on the rear tires.
This should be a great start for you.

make every gear incl its final ratio as long as possiple and in the ecu part... i forgot what it is called go to from left to right and make it as high as possible... that should gain it about 1 second better acceleration and its top speed should go up by to about 222 miles... it works on mostly every car... :dopey:

Ya, when playing online its almost necessary that you tune your car, or else you get munched up, and beaten everytime, sadly I suck at tuning cars, an I need some good setups for the corola and RX-7.

Its weird I had a mustang and I could hit 210mph on the bayview bridge drag track (I test all of my cars on it) and it had all the Lvl2 engine mods and Lvl3 squeeze(nos) but when I unlocked all lvl3 mods and it could only do 204mph 👎 :ouch: :ouch: :scared: :(

you need to tune the gear ratios

Try turning your tire grip F&R down to.10 front and rear and see if that helps any if not Ill post mine along with some killer GTO drift settings

well i got my 3 best a 543.6hp GTO, a 517HP Supra and A 555hp Mustang GT the gto is my best drifter but i left the settings at home...

In this stupid game HP doesnt count for anything. In the end all the cars are around the same speed. Its stupid a 1.8 liter corsa going 220MPH i think not. Also they turn round 90 degrees corners at that speed aswell. The dyno run might tell you that some cars are quicker and have better acceleration than others but in the race all the cars are all about the same.

Gotta love the old 'dial-a-grip-rate' It's the same in Midnight Club 3 - DUB Edition REMIX

I tune the gear ratios to maximum acceleration and also drop the ratios on individual gears to give it full acceleration for Drift and Street X races. You gotta shift a lot more though, so pay attention to the tachometer. (assuming that you all use manual transmission)
