Nikon Announces the D300s And D3000

I bought an F90 with 18-105 zoomer the other day. Should I regret it? Guess not, it's a great camera with very good interface and superb images. Before I used the F80 that was very good too but getting obsolete.
I checked the 5000 as well with the cool moveable screen but decided against it when I read you could not use the normal Nikon lenses with that, whereas with the F90 you can.
What IS cool about these 3x-series is that it has an autofocus movie function which the F90 has not ...

To be honest, i have tried both the D90 and D300, and the only major difference was the D90 has more kit inside a smaller body. Were as i think the D300s i more of a D300 with a few D90 bits bolted on to be fair. Obviously the D300(s) is a professional body, so it is weather proof and is made from magnesium alloy , rather than a 'cheeper' plastic feel of the D90 and it is not weather proof. Me personally out of the 3 (D300, D90, D300s) i would take the D300s, although i find the D-Movie gimmicky but also a significant step in technology, it all the little things that make this one step better than the D300 and the D90. I would have a D90 as a back up because it is smaller, lighter while giving the same great image sensor in a lighter cheaper package

Sorry if ive waffled on
