:odd: Just grab some settings off another RWD car that you like and use those. If it doesn't work well right away, use the trial and error method and modify them to your liking.

You also might want to check the Sticky: Drift Settings Depot at the top of the board.

True.....I found that out last night......I don't have much of a problem breaking traction, or gripping after the drift. I'll give your settings a try after baby goes down for a nap. Thanx.

What race do you have to win to get the 350Z? I only have it in arcade mode, what race in simulation mode do I need to finish to get it? I do agree it is a fun car to drive, especially on wet track :D

Nah, not that licenence thing you can win it that way, but i won my in a race. Go to the home and go to GT3 prize car its in amature.

Thanx for trying hope it suit ur need :D

you can win it as one of the four prize cars for the GT World Championship series race in Amateur League

just make sure to keep a good lead in points, save after the ninth race, and then just skip 10th race and reload until you get the 350Z

That's how I got mine......except I got an exceptional win ratio to uphold, so I completed the series.....btw, you can rerace the same series and keep getting prize cars......be sure to use the save feature before the last race, just in case you don't get the car you want.

Welcome to GTP......
You don't have to start the whole game over........just do the series from where you are in the game, and you will win another car out of it.
Don't believe me???? Try this: do the type-R, Altezza, Vitz, or any other series from the Beginner level (something easy you've done already, and you can do in about 30 mins, or less) and watch as you complete the series. Full $$$ payout AND the bonus car (again)!!!!!!

Tip: for any series of 10 races in the Amateur League, use the F090/s (or any other formula car)....you'll win in about 60-70 minutes (with a guaranteed gold in every race). Be sure to save before the last race. Hold down the L1 button after the bonus car screen comes up, and press X when the dark circle is under the car you want. (timing is key)
Didn't get the car you wanted??? reset game, and you'll be taken back to the last race of the series.

This is how I've won NUMEROUS cars you can't win anywhere else in the game

or you could use a gameshark and buy the Z for 5 bucks :) . but that would be cheating

I got the 350Z today, and it's lots of fun. I like that it is naturally aspirated and revs nice and high, but i am seriously disliking the lack of response and stability from the steering. The car just feels heavy into the turns, so i'm going to fiddle with the setting tomorrow to see if I can reduce the understeer. I've also noticed a lot of people here set up there cars suspension very hard in the rear and softer in the front... isn't this OPPOSITE of what you would really want to do? Same goes with brakes... i see people putting the brake bias to the rear brakes at full setting! How the heck can you drift like that?!
-Tim

Good to hear it!!!! with the break balance at the rear, you go into tail-slide easier (slide for drifting = GOOD!!!!). Coupled with a soft suspention in the front, forces understeer and leaves you with no alternative but to drift through a corner. I just set my suspention hard on both ends 'cuz I like a well balanced racer. Makes no sense to me to only set a car up to use one or two techniques......I like to leave myself options.
