Nissan 370Z wrong engine!

I've noticed that they put the wrong engine and sound in the 370Z!
When you crash enough for the the hood to come off, you can see it's not a VQ37 but a VQ35, The Nissan 350Z Engine! That made me angry cause I really wanted to drive the VQ37 as it is in the Infiniti G37 aswell. The other Nissan fanboys might have noticed this. But it could just be my copy of the game and a glitch. I haven't installed the car patch yet, though.

In my copy (360, latest patch and DLC installed) it looks exactly like this one, quite nicely done I might say:

Reads loud and clear "V6 35". Can't tell anything about the sound though, my speakers broken down and I'm stuck with crappy TV set noises.

edit: Just to make things clear: The pic is from a RL 350Z and the engines in Shift in both the 350Z and 370Z look exactly the same, like pictured in the, well, picture.

I dug through some more and they're actually .. pretty damn good. As in, I don't think there's a single engine bay in there with a face or texture count lower than what would have been used for a whole car a few years back. All the Nissan's other than the 350z/370z and GTR/GTR SpecV are totally different from each other and the Skyline 2000's in particular is a real piece of work - no way you'd be able to see half of what they did there unless you viewed it outside of the game. In a lot of cases you can lift the whole face of the engine out and there's even more stuff underneath.

The 370z is pretty sloppy if you look closely and it might be a genuine oversight/bug rather than a laziness thing. Might be worth shooting them an email and seeing if they want to fix it next patch.

Anyhow, since I went through and loaded them and pulled off LODs to get to them I might as well share them and see if anyone notices anything else odd. Sorry for the look of some of these, the editor doesn't support any of the nice effects you get in game other than some pretty basic lightsource.

Load it in 3dsimed or zmodeller, move or hide the body or hood lods.

boxox,I think it would be good idea to make a thread of car engines,because it is kinda going off topic.

But I would like to see more.
