hey guys... thought i'd share some of my snaps with u nissan fans...
before u pull the BS card on me i included GTP rules in teh first pic

NOTE: the DEL SOL, The PURPLE R33 GTR VSPEC(bastards stole the front badge off my car when it was parked :| still lookin for another one) and the GREY 200SX are mine... the other white R32 GTR is my friends.. he wanted to wax in the shade so i pulled my car out... bmw isn't mine either

here's the pics... I figure u guys don't get to see many of these on your side of the pond.. thought i'd share with u... i'm more then welcome to answer any q's u guys may have..

p.s. in case anyones wondering.. the GTR is converted from RHD to LHD.. u can notice from the way the dash faces Away from the drivers position... and in my friends the Racing recaro is now the passenger seat... (both cars are JDM's imported here)

i live in the middle east... (specifically State of Bahrain big ASU here (American Support Unit) but before u go flamin me as a rag head or some other racist remark.. just for the record i'm not arab.. i only Work here.. so i'm only here till my contract expires...

what kind of cars?

well the my Del Sol is 93 with D16a9/ZC engine (DOHC non Vtec 140hp)

the skylines speak for themselves.. (white when is my buddies Not mine)

my 93 Grey 200SX which orginally had the CA18DET engine which i swapped for the SR20DET engine with some extra mods...

then in the background is a Blue 325iS... which is my parents car...

did i miss anything?

i may be wrong, but in the pic of the back of the skyline, the gtp rules sign looks like it was just photoshopped onto the picture.wouldnt the single piece of lined paper be folding over a little bit in the air, and wouldnt be 2d.

thanx bro... but it's all relative.. around here Z06's are really rare.. only one or 2 real ones and a couple poser c5's fakin it... but i'm sure u see z06's frequently...

Well thought I would add a little, I mean I love to show mine off. I just got a new digital camera and heck now you guys can put a face behind the type. A first on the net!!!!
Forgive the kitty litter as I just did an oil change, and what a shyt of a missing getting that bloody oil filter off. I think Nissan had a sense of humour putting the 4 wheel steering splitter box opposite the oil filter on the right strut tower , grrrrrrr.

It suppose to look like that. Its the GT-R logo, kinda thing. Maybe SkylineGTR_Guy can explain it better.

Wasn't by choice...

to register the car road legal it must be LHD.. (coutnry drives LHD) only way u can keep a car RHD is if it's a race car.. (rally, autox etc) but u can't drive it on public roads then...

or u're a British passport holder.. and u register the car RHD u can use it for 2 yrs then u must export it back to UK

Maybe for guys in the states but I've seen pics of a few GTR's they've legalized and never seen the "motoRex" logo one. Since I live in New Zealand my car is unmolested, ie still right hand drive.

I should see if a 2 litre fits in there, it is a 5" tip so might. I'll try tomorrow and snap a few pics of it.

I've had it for 2 1/2 years now so yea enjoy the heck out of her.

Ok guys got up nice and early and yep 2 litre fits with room to spare, so grabbed the biggest old bottle I could find which was a 2.25 litre. Yep HEAPS of room to spare. I also turned around and snapped a quick photo standing in my garage door entrance of the valley area behind me. There is a horse track which you can see better from my balcony though.

One other thing - the Honda Civic is registered in Bahrain, as is the Nissan 200SX, but the Skyline has license plates from the United Arab Emirates - specifically the emirate (state) of Umm al Qaiwain. What's the story there?

The "brakish" whom i don't know also lives in bahrain.. (saw it in his profile) our ISP has really ****e service and it's probably a glitch on their part...



both skylines were purschased in UAE.. being the major importer from japan in teh gulf.. converted their and Drove to Bahrain where we live...

the cars were insured at the Border and are driven as such... like having Alabama plates in Cali getting them converted to Bahraini is a bit of a headache cuz of the police having doubts on quality of LHD to RHD conversions... so it's a time consuming process... and neither of us have succedded as of yet... but it doesn't really matter... cuz there's so many non Bahraini vistors constantly driving in and out cops hardly take notice unless u're doin something majorly wrong... so we've been pretty lazy about it... but we're workin on getting them switched.. ( I have to if i ever wanna sell teh car)

*EDIT* the 200SX is european spec with a JDM heart so it was a breeze to swap over since it was originally LHD... and the Del Sol aka civic CRX, was Middle east spec and also LHD...
