This is the Car that Nissan will compete in for 2015 FIA WEC/Le Mans 24hour.
It's the worlds 1st Front Engined/Front Wheel Drive Hybrid LMP1 Developed By Nismo with help from US and UK Engineers.
Specs: 900kg, rumoured Horsepower between 600-1200bhp, 3 Litre Twin Turbo V6 Hybrid Engine with ERS.
GTPlanet originally covered this story about a possible Future GT DLC, Hopefully it'll be GT6 During The Silverstone 6 Hour soon.

My concern is the front wheel drivetrain. Beautiful car, very nice, but the front wheel drive train kinda kills it. It would still be neat to see in GT6 though.

It's a 4wd from what I know. Nissan just using loopholes to say "look at our 1000hp fwd race car!" To cause a stir.

It's an energy recovery system so it's much like the other LMP-1 cars, will only last a few seconds or a bit longer.

@GranTurismo guy It is front-wheel drive, only all-wheel drive when the rear electric motors are activated (which isn't all the time)

AWD system is used on corner exit where it matters most. The rest of the time FWD isn't going to be an issue.

Unfortunately The Nissan GT-R LMP Nismo LMP1 will miss the start of this years FIA WEC but it'll officially start at 2015 Le Mans 24 Hour.
During the tests there were some problems but I hope it'll do well as well as I hope Polyphony (GT6) will put this unique LMP1 on GT6 very soon.

So it is only using the front wheels unless it needs the four wheel traction, in which case it brings the rears into play. So it behaves like a lot of four wheel drives, like evo lancers, wrxs, gt four celicas, I could go on, but you get the point. It's no more a front wheel drive than any of those cars, which are never referred to as fwd.

Anyway, I think it looks bloody awful, but being a big fan of Nissan, I hope it does well.

It is a real pity that it misses the WEC Prologue and opening 2 races at Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps. Packaging such advanced hybrid and energy recovery systems is completely different to anything other form of racing Nissan is involved in. It also failed a crash test and had to redesign how the KERS integrated with the monocoque based on a meeting with the ACO.

As for the GT-R LM Nismo arriving in GT6? Le Mans is the earliest possibility now, as apparently up to a few weeks back, it was undecided as to how many flywheels would be used and just how they would balance the ICE and ERS.

I'm SO EXCITED that The 2015 Nissan GT-R LMP Nismo LMP1 is coming to Gran Turismo 6 on June 2 at 4:30pm (Australian Central Time) and I can't wait to win that car and drive it on Bathurst, Silverstone and Who Knows!!!!! + I'll record a video of my lap in it and post it on Instagram.

...........You gotta be kiddin' me. This car was more or less confirmed to be included in a GT title. Hell, there's whole thread for it. And it's being suggested???

But this car is already confirmed to be in GT6 soon so why make a thread for it?

Why exactly is there a thread for a car that's already coming to GT6?

Called it

I suppose you still don't have an answer for our questions?

>"Who cares about likes?"
>One of those who suggests almost every single car in the world to fish for likes

And there is even proof he doesn't suggest the cars because he like them.

There were many deleted threads of his in which he suggested something that was already posted, people then linked him to the original thread where he didn't even care to give the car a vote.
