The SpecV is a bit better than its base car, but not by a long shot: The exterior and interior has some Carbon Fiber materials, like the rear spoiler. It has reduced weight over the original GT-R. And has some mechanical changes, like carbon ceramic brakes. The engine is the same as the original, though.

I believe the SpecV "better" when tuned. If you need money borrow a friends Ferrari and do the Ferrari seasonal event, it's super easy and you'll get rich quick. 👍

I'd go with the SpecV with a full areo kit, I used to have one as a track car and it was pretty awesome.

You can't add any aero to the Spec-V, at least the GT Academy version (never spent the 300K on the dealership model without the sticker)

You can add aero to the regular dealership SpecV.

I've used both the GTR and the GTR Spec V, both fully modded. The Spec V did give be a little more hp after modifying, but nothing much to talk about for the extra cost of the base car.
However, I felt that the regular GTR handled better at high speeds than the Spec V (both fully modded, both untuned, i.e . all specs set to default). The Spec V had a tendency to understeer more, while the regular GTR seemed more willing to rotate in corners.
If I could do it over, I'd just get the regular GTR and mod it. Th extra cost of the Spec V isn't worth it to me.

Hi, my Nissan Skyline Spec V LM, tuned, is 694 HP @ 1252 Kg. Nissan Skyline GT-R Spec Nur is 742HP @ 1285 Kg. Nissan GT-R concept LM race car is 714 HP @ 1100 Kg. Nissan Option Stream Z 847 HP @ 1260 Kg. All are tuned to the max. The GT-R concept LM is lighter although it has less HP but it works well. Hope this helps.

My spec v no word of a lie out-performs a stock Veyron to. I have pictures I might add to this post if I can be bothered lol.

As for aero kits, my spec v GTR installed them no problem. The one above is academy GTR that could be your problem?
